Depends on what you want her to do dose babysitting include meal times dose it include doing dishes and house work diapers or do you just need someone to sit on the couch and watch a movie with you little one. Think minum wadge if you just want her to sit around But no less than $20 if it is all the dishes and cooking I would say 7 an hr Good luck.

I would say about $8/hr. U don't wanna come off too cheap b/c when you really need her to babysit, she won't be as willing b/c of the pay. I'm 20 yrs. old with an 8 year old brother. He is a handful. You couldn't pay me any amount of money to babysit him. Take that into consider. Most children will do things with a babysitter that they wouldn't necessarily do around the parents (thinking they can get away with more), so you have to see it from her perspective.

Generally, I pay $5 per child, per hour, with an additional $2 an hour after midnight. I never expect my sitters to do anything other than care for my kids...meals are ready, dishes will get handled when I get back, baths were usually done. If they did do anything like that, then I usually gave them a little extra as well.

I guess it's depends on how old your child is. My child is 20 months and I payed my teen sitter $2 an hour.

I always got 5 dollars an hour, then an extra dollar for every kid after the first. I mean at least then for only one kid she's almost making min. wage.
