At church Wednesday night I went to drop off my son in his class and found 5 , 3year olds in the classroom by their selves. I stayed until the teacher came in and I asked "Where were you???? These children were all alone!!!!" She told me that she left them with a girl who apparently left. I found out this girl is only 10 years old!!!!!! Then I didn't want to leave him but another teacher came in and helped and said they would keep a good eye on him. There was only 7 kids so I said OK and I checked on him though out the service. When I went to pick him up he was no where to be found and I freaked. I couldn't find her either and when I did I asked her where he was and she said" I thought you picked him up already!!!!" I then told her she was shouldn't even be teaching. I then searched (with everyone's help) and 15 minutes later we found him.I then was confronted by a member saying I mad this girl cry. I said sorry then went home. I called the church yesterday I told the

Generally when someone posts a question (and it's a serious one) they are truly looking for advice & on many occassions are already upset about what they are asking advice for.

I recently asked a question on here & some of the responses I received could seriously drive an unstable person to suicide. They definately drove me to tears until I thought about it & realized that the people being so mean didn't have a clue about me & they must be lashing out at someone like me to cover something wrong in their own life.

Why would someone want to pass judgement on you when you are just looking for a little advice??

So, please consider your answers prior to typing them. You never know the mental state of the person you are bashing. I work with depressed individuals on a daily basis & I couldn't help but wonder what would have happened if one of them asked my question instead of me.

I am looking to adopt a child and have heard that adoption can cost upwards of $20,000. I am looking to adopt an infant or toddler (most likely no older than 4 years of age) I am willing to adopt from the US or any other country and the race of the child makes no difference to me. Is it possible for me to adopt a child with out draining my life savings?

My son is 13 years old and is at the age where every female is "hot" to him. I over heard him talking to one of his friends about how sexy their teacher is in her daisy dukes everyday. I confronted him about it. He told me that she has a different pair of daisy dukes for everyday of the week and that she also wears very low cut blouses and bends over a lot and that her "tatas" sometimes fall out of the shirt. I couldn't believe what I was hearing so I went up to the school for myself to see if it were true. I was outraged. I didn't know if this was my son's teacher or Lil Kim. She had on a pair of daisy dukes with booty cheeks hanging out and her shirt was a strap shirt with lots of boobs hanging out.
I confronted the teacher and asked her why she came to school dressed so inappropriately and she told me she can dress how she wants. The principal of the school is very much aware of her attire but does nothing but droll. What can I do?? Is this acceptable??

Someone sent this to my daughter and now she wants me to explain to her why it is this way how do I properly?
You call me "Cracker", "Honkey", "Whitey", "Gringo" and you think it's OK.
But when if I call you Kike, porch monkey, sand ni**er, rag head ,Towelhead, WOP, Camel Jockey, ****, slant eyes, yellowskinned, blackie or Chink you call me a racist.
You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you, so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?
You have the United ***** College Fund.
You have Martin Luther King Day.
You have Black History Month.
You have Cesar Chavez Day.
You have Yom Hashoah
You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi
You have the NAACP.
You have BET.
You have the NCAA.
If we had WET(white entertainment television) ...we'd be racist.
If we had a White Pride Day... you would call us racist.
If we had white history month... we'd be racist.
If we had an organization for only whites to "advance" our lives... we'd be racist.
If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships...you know we'd be racist.
In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights. If we marched for our race and rights...you would call us racist.
Did you know that some high school students decided to make a club for only the white students because the other ethnicities had them... they all got sent to court for being racist but the african-american, Latino, and Asia clubs were not even questioned.

-You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.
I am white.

I am proud.

But, you call me a racist.

Why is it that only whites can be racists?

Now watch, I'll be a racist for posting this

My son (who i adore) is from a previous relationship many years ago and my fella is his step father. I am now 36 and my body clock is running out (I feel). We split up for 8 months and he asked if he could come back in April last year. I agreed, but things would be different he promised. He has a phobia for marriage and I feel that I would like to be in a stable relationship (marriage) after what has happened to me in the past being a single parent is bloody hard work. I do know that just because we marry it doesnet mean that it can't go wrong. But I would feel more secure as he would be responsible in a monetry kind of way which I havn't had in 13 years. He has suddenly decided that he would quite like a child now. But he still won't marry me! I feel that is the commitment he has to make to me for me to give him a child, am I being unfair. I love him dearly, but also do I want a child when I am nearly 37 our lives are just starting again. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

My niece is due to start primary school in september yet she is still in nappies and refuses to go anywhere near a potty or toilet. I am asking for advice for my sister who doesn't know what to do.
She has tried many times to train her, using bribes, reward charts etc.
She puts her in normal knickers and her daughter just pees herself everywhere, doesn't seem to notice or care that she has done it. When she needs a poo she goes into a corner to hide.
She has asked the health visitor and doctor but they are not very helpful, just suggesting things she has already done.
THe longest she has done is 3 weeks of just peeing everywhere before she gave up and put the nappies backon.
We know the little girl is not incontinent as she can hold it in when people are around and go into a corner to do it. And she doesn't have special needs, she is very intelligent in most respects.
Is there anything we can do? Will she never use a potty?
By the way she is 31/2 when she starts school she will be 4.

My son is 16 years old. This morning he didn't want to get up and instead wanted to play hooky from school and begged me to let him stay home. I finally told him that if he stays home, he will have to cancel something that he had planned to do tonight that he's been looking forward to. He got mad and said I was "blackmailing" him but I told him I was just doing whatever necessary to get his *** out of bed. What do you think?

PS: Blackmail or not, it worked. He finally got up and went to school!

Was I out of order? Should I report him? What would you do?

My 5 year old daughter is becoming extremely naughty. I have tried every method of discipline ie. confiscating items, rewarding good behaviour, but nothing else seems to work. I have given great thought, and have decided to introduce smacking. I am concerned as I do not know how this would work. If so, then how should this be administerd without causing any upset for the long term? please help!!

I can't physically stop him. He won't respect my 'no' and he won't stop even when my kids say 'owe'. It starts off fun and he gets carried away. He is an adult, but won't respect it when I say enough. He throws my baby around and I tell him to stop and he laughs at me for being an overprotective mom. He thinks he is doing what all guys do, and that kids need to learn to be around a man... (their dad left). He once fed my 1 month old whipping cream behind my back of course because he'd knew I'd be upset. I tell him to stop, and he turns around and lashes out at me. How do I stop him... I don't want to miss family functions and miss seeing everyone, to set bounderies with him. Although I would love to say. 'when you can respect us, then you can see us'.. but then I wouldn't see other familes either.
