My son is 13 years old and is at the age where every female is "hot" to him. I over heard him talking to one of his friends about how sexy their teacher is in her daisy dukes everyday. I confronted him about it. He told me that she has a different pair of daisy dukes for everyday of the week and that she also wears very low cut blouses and bends over a lot and that her "tatas" sometimes fall out of the shirt. I couldn't believe what I was hearing so I went up to the school for myself to see if it were true. I was outraged. I didn't know if this was my son's teacher or Lil Kim. She had on a pair of daisy dukes with booty cheeks hanging out and her shirt was a strap shirt with lots of boobs hanging out.
I confronted the teacher and asked her why she came to school dressed so inappropriately and she told me she can dress how she wants. The principal of the school is very much aware of her attire but does nothing but droll. What can I do?? Is this acceptable??

contact your local new paper to do a report on this teacher tell them the teacher is showng more skin that should be allowed . contact the school board and the principals , send photos , u may need to get te teachers permission to take the photos so just tell the teacher u want a pic of her and your son together seeing how this is his last year with him and u want to put it in his photo album for remberance , after u get the picture go on line to the schook boards web site for whaere u go and e mail them the pics of the teacher and telling them this is how she dresses every day and u thin its not right that she dress that way , talk to other parents and get there input see if they agree with u and if they do agree with u see if they will back u up on this and complain as well , if one ust does it it will take longer but if more and more parents speak up tey will either fire her or get her to wear more approate clothing rather its a teacher or student dressed like that it is not appropiate anything that distracks the learning enviroment is nto allowed , young girls get in trouble at schools for this and so should te tteachers i feel that teachers are roll models for our children and there for should set an example on how they should dress especally if they say our girls can wear this and hat then the teachers should also be dressed right as well , seeing how the principal did nothing i would talk to other staff memebers ie assistant principal etc , if nothing is done go to the school board and bring it up , even if your son is out of school by time this is done keep pursuing it cause teachers need to set an example of appropiate dress atire if they are gonna inforce it on to our children

This one I can MORE than help you out with!

1. Talk to the principal and demand that he enforces the school districts dress code. State that you feel that your son is being exposed to images he should not be seeing at such a young age.
2. Make sure you keep all the documentation from the meeting. Have witnesses there for your conversation.
3. If the principal refuses (which it sounds like he has) go to the school board trustee. Tell him the situation. Explain to him that daisy dukes and low cut shirts are not the appropriate attire of a teacher. He SHOULD cut it there.
4. Make sure to keep documentation of that meeting too.
5. If all of that is still not working, go to your local media or write a letter to the paper describing all you have been through and how inappropriate you find the dress to be. Trust me, other parents will hear this and a storm will brew. It will be changed overnight if she isn't fired first.

As I am currently going into education and my mother is a principal, I see both of their behaviour as totally unacceptable and I have to question how the school is even run. I would suggest switching him to another school, regardless, because the principal seems like he is hiring people based on them looking like Christina Agullera rather than a professional teacher.

School staff and children shouldn't dress in a exposed way at all. They are there to learn and to teach not have thoughts that have to do with sex ed 7 days a week. School staff has to set an example and students need tough rules on what they can wear. Uniforms should be worn in every school - maybe kids would graduate instead of getting knocked up becuase of a g string sticking out of a girls pants.

Hon, I would be getting ahold of the Board of Education. Asking them how they can allow one of their teachers, a person who is supposed to be a role model, to wear such clothes to work! A person who works with kids of any age should not dress like that period while at work! I know alot of schools have a dresscode policy for the students, I think they need one for the teachers too. They are supposed to be adults and know better! Seriously, get ahold of the Board of Education, if they do nothing go above their heads.....Just keep going up the line until something is done. Do we all need to remind them of the teachers who have been taken advantage of my their students, or the studens who have been taken advantage of by their teachers? Something is bound to happen with her dressing like that!
Good Luck Hon!

It's completely unacceptable. If the teacher and the principal don't care, try filing a complaint with the district, getting other parents involved in the complaining, and I'd suggest even transfering your son to a different class.
I'm sure if you and other parents make a big stink about it someone has to take notice and hopefully the teacher and the principal will get fired.

That is disgraceful a teacher should not be dressed like a hooker and this is what it sounds like..... do whatever you can to get her out of her position she should not be around 13 yr old boys or girls for that matter she is in a position that shows rolemodels and this is not what I want my children to think adults are all about

You cannot possibly be serious...no principal would allow such attire in the schools! Even the students can't dress like that! Complain again to the principal if you're serious...and if nothing happens, contact the school department. But I seriously don't believe you...
