I just got a puppy and they said she was an american pit well i thought she had worms so i wormed her and there was long white worms in her poop so i treated her for 10 ddays like it said now shes vomiting and getting real skinny what should i do?

ok i have three dogs and one of them is a hound and he comes with the hound smell i dont mind but the rest of my family does. is there any way to lessen the smell of three dogs? the other two arnt as bad i give them a bath and the will smell fine for like ever but if i give the houd a bath the smell is bacvk the next day is there any way to lessen the smell with out using a lot of money or is the smell there and nothings going to change it?

im going to start a dog daycare in my home, i allready talked to the village and township and they said it was fine.
i have a big fenced in yard. we have a basement with 4 rooms the one i was going to use for dogs staying the night. the others will be for be playing.
i have three dogs and they have there own room and its painted with bones and pawprints, i was thinking of doing this downstairs. how does that sound?
now should parents bring there dogs food like a day child day care does that sometimes?
now what about baths? i love spoiling dogs. i want to do stuff for b-days and that kind of thing. my dogs have there own b-days i invite my family and friends its great.
let me know what you think please!!!!!!

I have a boxer and I had her bred to a champion sire on Friday, March 9. We only let them breed once since this is her first litter. The sire usually produces litters from 8-12 puppies. What is the most likely litter size for her first litter? Will she have a small litter since we only bred her once? thnx for all your help. My dog ate rat poison and almost died last summer. YES i took her to the vet. She had a blood transfusion bc she was 15 mins away from dead the vet told me i needed to take her to a specialist but it was an hour away and i wouldnt have time to take her. So he gave her the blood transfusion and vitamin k. then i took her to the specialist and they said she was fine. I gave her the vitamin k pills for a month. Now she is coughing alot having trouble breathing and is not as playful as she used to be she just finished clavamox and her cough suppressant but she is still doing the same thing. Could this be related to the rat poison?

My apartment rules permit a doberman and space is not a prob it is big enough ,and am ready to jog it daily. But after the dobe is about 5months it will have to stay alone for about 6hrs....think it can do well???. ADVICE PLEASE!!

My vet told me to feed him 100g of dry food divided by 3 meals every day, so he get 3 sittings of 35g or so.
My family and friends all think this is not enough for him.
Have you experience please tell me how much he should eat?

Okay, so I've had 2 chihuahua puppies for about 7 weeks now and they've both had all their shots, worming tablets etc. but now of them is quite a lot smaller than the other. He has definitely grown since we got him but just not anywhere near as much as the other.
Recently he keeps shaking a lot but we're not sure why - it could be because his brother gets jealous and he might be scared of him?
He's eating just fine and is playful etc like any normal puppy but he's so small compared to his brother. He also has diarrhoea (sp?) fairly often but not all the time.

Maybe this is just normal behaviour and I'm worrying over nothing but does anyone have any suggestions to what could (if anything) be wrong with him?

My dog is having trouble. He is coughing out and then he gags. (NOT snorting in) He is not able to sleep any longer than 1/2 hour without coughing and gagging. He is not able to get much sleep because if this. Is this typical of a collapsed trachea? He has all of his vaccinations, including bordetella.

I have moved into my first "home of my own," it is a 3 BR townhouse, all bedrooms are occupied, my elder dad lives with me along with my daughter and fiance. We are very outdoorsy people, and do something almost everyday. I really love Weimaraner's and am prepared for the exercise part of having a dog, I am just worried as to whether or not my home will be adequate enough.

I am planning for May 12th to get one, but I am having cold feet about the situation, worrying about space.
