Your dog (if pregnant), will be due give birth between 63-65 days. (Around 9 weeks). You should have somewhere safe and quiet for her to nest otherwise she will pick somewhere like your bed. Nesting boxes are good. Once you start seeing your dog getting big and you have about 2 -3 weeks to go get your dog onto puppy food and keep her on it until the puppies have weaned. This serves two purposes. 1. she needs the extra nutrition whilst she is pregnant and 2. when the puppies start to wean they can also eat her food as well

She will start to show behaviour when she is due to give birth like pacing around the place looking generally unsettled.

Do not get involved with her labour leave her in a quite area of the house, you can definitely supervise (I would recommend to make sure everything is going ok), She will probably be in labour for quite sometime but things to watch out for.
1. She should not strain for more than and hour. So if she in her active phase of labour by trying to push a puppy out and she has been doing it for more than an hour you must get her to the Vets asap as she may need some help with drugs or an emergency C-section.
2. She can be in labour for hours but as long as she is not pushing for more than an hour she will be ok. Keep a clock around the place.
3. when a puppy is born mum will removed the amniotic sac herself and clean the baby, she is meant to clean the whole lot up to give her energy for the rest of the labour. So don’t get rid of it.
If you feel that she is struggling to clean the sac of quickly enough you can help her but you should not need to.
4. Have mum and pups checked with in 48 hours of birth to make sure mum is ok and there are not any puppies left. And the live pups dont have any birth defects like Cleft palates of the mouth that will stop then from suckling.

Hopefully you wont have any complications.
Ring your vet asap if you are concerned.
And please get her desexed next time it reallyis better for her health

Good luck and keep an eye on the dates.

Well, what did you breed her to? HOw big was he? Has this female had puppies before? This is important information.
A pregnancy lasts about 9 weeks. At your point, week 6, you should see the tummy starting to get rounder. If over the course of the next two weeks she continues like that, then you will know it is a false pregnancy. But, wait another week to find out. You should know by then.

I don't know any websites, but I know how to spell Chihuahua, just for future reference. My Chihuahua had a false pregnancy, where she thought she was pregnant, her mammary glands actually swelled a bit as well as her tummy, but she wasn't really pregnant. Have you taken her to a vet?

I think your best source of information regarding the health of your specific dog's pregnancy would probably be a vet who can actually put his/her hands on the dog's belly and/or take ultrasounds if that step is necessary.
