you cannot register your dogs with AKC unless first they are purebred and in each case the Doxies and Pins parents were registered purebred with AKC already. AKC does not register dogs without AKC prior pedigree on file.
If these are your pets than registering them as purebred is of no real importance. If you are looking to do this in hopes of making money in case they breed than you are breeding for the wrong reason. Reputable breeders are looking to improve each breed. You do not do this by cross/mix breeding which can only create mutts with double the possible health issues. If you want to register them for protection than American Kennel Association would be good. Microchip would also be good.

If you want to breed your dogs you get more money if you register them to UKC or AKC. When you register to AKC it's telling everyone that you have a purebred dog. It also makes it able for you to show your dogs. If you register them in the UKC you could have a mixed or purebred, but you can show in dog shows, and I think the people are nicer there than at the AKC shows. You could also register them in breed clubs. You can search on the internet for daschund clubs or min pin clubs. To register in the AKC I think it costs like $50, and UKC costs $30.

what kind of register are you talking about. If you are asking AKC then you had to have gotten paper to fill out , otherwise you can not register them with AKC. If you are talking about with the town. then go to the town office and let them you know you have a dog. also take your spay or neuter certificate as they charge more for unspayed or unneutered
