I have a boxer and I had her bred to a champion sire on Friday, March 9. We only let them breed once since this is her first litter. The sire usually produces litters from 8-12 puppies. What is the most likely litter size for her first litter? Will she have a small litter since we only bred her once? thnx for all your help. Where I can advertise her puppies for sale on the net for free?Is there such a place? thnx for your help

anyone who buys my puppies must sign an agreement that they will never sell or give away the puppy to anyone! If at any time during the life of the puppy/dog then I will take them back. This is to keep my dogs and the bloodline out of the pounds and shelters.I also meet everyone and they must stay in contact with me otherwise they do not recieve a puppy. I make sure that ALL my puppies go to a great home and loving people.

Usually the first litter they have 6-8, but my pet had 9 on her first litter. And as far as selling them could you truly be happy with your self if you didn't know that they all had a good home and were well taken care of? That ids the question you need to ask your self before you go and sell the puppies that you watch grow and come to love for the next 8 weeks while they are getting weaned from their mother.

Boxers usually have 5-7 pups and like I said to your mom,
first litters are usually smaller, but some dogs will
surprize you with large ones their first time.

You guys are quite daring having two simultanious
breedings. Make sure you both have someone on call in case
of emergency besides one another in case you both need help
at the same time. A more experienced breeder is a priceless
resource to tap into through your dog's entire pregnancy,
during whelping and even puppy rearing.

Good luck!

My dog's tattoos are registered with the National Dog Registry (NDR), but to the best of my knowledge, they don't register litters. They maintain a database that would be used to place lost pets. I don't know if they'd be much help for you in this case. I think you should contact the breeder and explain your concerns. Talk to other folks who know this breeder and see if they might be of some help. Try to work out a happy resolve. Good luck.
