ok i have three dogs and one of them is a hound and he comes with the hound smell i dont mind but the rest of my family does. is there any way to lessen the smell of three dogs? the other two arnt as bad i give them a bath and the will smell fine for like ever but if i give the houd a bath the smell is bacvk the next day is there any way to lessen the smell with out using a lot of money or is the smell there and nothings going to change it?

There are no-rinse creams you can use. The product I use is safe to use everyday. You apply the cream after a bath, when they are still wet. They smell really good and are very good for their hair coats.
You don't need a prescription, but you may not be able to find them anywhere other than a vet. You can look at pet stores.
Make sure it is a product for dogs. Humans shampoos and conditioners dry their skin terribly.

There are dry powder shampoos that you just sprinkle on the dog, then brush off. It means brushing the dog every second day and you will be still bathing him as often but the dry shampoos do work and they smell better than the dog does.

You should use Fresh n' Clean shampoos. They last a really long time (the bottle says two weeks) and if you run a damp cloth over them the fresh smell comes back.

You should contact a vet and ask if there is some kind of special shampoo that you can get. I did that and I got great results!

talk to your vet and see if there's some kind of different food that Will help his coat and maintain his body better, or maybe different doggie shampoo.
dogs smell, maybe they will have to live with it.

try changing the brand of food you feed them you can get food that improves their skin and fur, this may eliminate some odor,

also, check the ears, if they are dirty, they will smell
