i have a big fenced in yard. we have a basement with 4 rooms the one i was going to use for dogs staying the night. the others will be for be playing.
i have three dogs and they have there own room and its painted with bones and pawprints, i was thinking of doing this downstairs. how does that sound?
now should parents bring there dogs food like a day child day care does that sometimes?
now what about baths? i love spoiling dogs. i want to do stuff for b-days and that kind of thing. my dogs have there own b-days i invite my family and friends its great.

That sounds like a great idea. I like it. Just make sure you have some extra helping hands incase you get overwhelmed with the amount of dogs that you look after. You could do baths and I would charge maybe $10 per dog. And maybe $20 per day that you watch them or you could do $30-$40 per day for a special VIP fee that would include dog walking, baths, grooming, etc....And have a designated dog walker that can walk 2 dogs at a time depending on the size of the dog or it would be one dog at a time for larger dogs...Provide a room with extra kenneling space for dogs that are not good with other dogs...Not all dogs are friendly towards each other.
Make sure you provide ALOT of chew toys so that nothing gets torn up. Uhm...In the fenced yard, I would keep a large metal kennel or "puppy play pen" for the pups...So that they do not get hurt by the larger dogs who might play rougher while outside playing...The pups can stay together and that would actually help with their socializing skills. I would ask the pet owners to bring their own dog food because they might prefer a specific brand for picky eaters, or for those that are allergic to certain foods and those that eat the higher quality foods.....Wow, I have ALOT of ideas....Anyways, I will save some for the other answerers. Oh, and you might have to get a license or something from the city council or whoever handles that to be able to have a doggie day care...As it is a form of a small home business...And you might have to get some safety and health inspections done...make sure that you require that ALL dogs are up to date on their shots including rabies, parvo, bordatella(sp?), distemper, kennel cough, etc. ... and all their wormers including heartworm.

I think that is so cute that your dogs have their own room....

Good luck with the doggie day care!

Sounds like you have a good set up for a small dog daycare. The daycare my dog goes to has a large outdoor play area, and then an indoor basement play area for bad weather days. there might be some kind of insurance you will need to have other people pets in your home. also, you should be or find someone who is experienced in dog behavior because you can't just put a bunch of dogs together. they need to be introduced and evaluated to avoid fights. you obviously can never leave the dogs unattended, so you may have to hire some help. your yard will be destroyed, which i'm sure you are used to since you have three dogs. i would suggest dogs be fed before and after they come to daycare. feeding while they are there would require seperating them all and could get complicated.

Hello. I think it sounds like a great idea. If you have a big yard..maybe an agility course. They should definitely bring their own food as you wouldn't want to change their diet. Baths would be great. Plus the extras..bandannas, toe nails painted, etc. Report cards for the owners to see how they got along that day(weekly) is a nice touch. I have a dog nanny that comes 3 x per week to feed and play with my 3 dogs, we pay her 10 euros for half an hour. Our other dog minder , comes to stay at our house with our dogs when we are away and the cost is 25 per night. hope this helps

sounds great, but remember, some dogs dont play well with others and also you have that whole breeding thing. make sure you have an area where less social dogs can go and "frisky" dogs wont knock up the the females.
as for food i say they should bring their own. changing food gives them upset stomachs.

Baths, parties etc, are additional activities that your clients should pay extra for. After all, you are (will be) running a business.
