I have moved into my first "home of my own," it is a 3 BR townhouse, all bedrooms are occupied, my elder dad lives with me along with my daughter and fiance. We are very outdoorsy people, and do something almost everyday. I really love Weimaraner's and am prepared for the exercise part of having a dog, I am just worried as to whether or not my home will be adequate enough.
I am planning for May 12th to get one, but I am having cold feet about the situation, worrying about space.

Weimaraners do fine indoors, as long as they get plenty of exercise and socializing.
The prerequisite would be that you have some area where she could be off lead, such as a fenced school ground or dog park..

It seems fine. As long as you understand that young Weimaraner's are very hyperactive and require a lot of exercise as an older dog. They don't go well with cats so if you have cats, a Weimaraner would not suit you. They love to be around people and love the outdoors so you seem like an excellent person to acquire a Weimaraner.
With regards to your other question (Is Sterling a good name for a Weimaraner?), I, personally, would not name my dog Sterling but I think it's a great name. Unique.

Yes, a 3br townhouse is plenty big enough for a Weimaraner.
I have a friend who is a dog trainer that has a 3br townhouse occupied by daughter & fiance, son & fiancee, herself, her 5 yr old nephew, 2 labrador retrivers, and a jack-russell terrier mix. All living very comfortably.

They are not that huge! Weimeraners are sweet pups. What you have there sounds great. I live in an apartment complex in California, and we have two "animal buildings" amongst the twelve in the complex. You should see the size of some of the poor dogs they cram into these apartments. Twin Dalmations, SheepDogs, Very large dogs I have not been able to identify are seen walking in the evening, only to return home after potty break. I am sure your doggy will be fine.

I'm sure you'll be fine, as long as you have read about the breed. and it is what you expect. Going out to the park for a romp each day would be perfect.

Come stay with me. basically remind Hay to save his grubby little palms of my Queen stuff and we are going to be cool. issue is inspite of the actuality that, I in undemanding words have a unmarried mattress, so we are going to be slightly cramped....
