I am 17 and my boyfriend is 16 I want to get married but I want him to ask me what do I do.

I'm getting married early next year and we do not plan on having any children at our wedding with the exception of our 4 year old flowergirl. I'm not being mean about it or anything, I just don't want to have any babies crying during the ceremony or any children talking too loud. Plus, we have to pay full price at the reception for children. I've very tactfully spread that word that it's an adults only wedding, and truthfully I've had a few people really put off with me about it, even though we're providing child care during the events.

I was wondering how other people felt about this. Would you be offended if you got an invitation with just you and your spouse's name on it and not your children's? Has anyone had any bad experiences with children at their own wedding? For example, when you played back the wedding video and it picked up every bit of that fussy baby in the 10th row?

By the way, I do love children...just not at weddings or funerals!

I remember walking down the isle and thinking why on earth am I doing this. If the truth be known I knew a few days before when I went to my doctor and told him I was deppressed because I was getting married, He and many other people said it was just nerves, He gave me a bottle of tranquillisers which I took a handfull of before I left for the church, I dont remember much about the reception. But When I got to the alter I had a tremdous urge to turn round and run, but I thought all the people would be disapointed in me and didnt' what a shame. The happiest day of my life was giving birth to my children, the second happiest day was the day I got Divorced should have done it years before I did, fancy giving the best years of my life to a horrid man. Now single for 20 years and very happy. Next time I would have lots of children I dont need the man? what was yours like?

ok my fiance decided to pay for the wedding. but im worry about if the wedding is gonna be at his way.. meaning that he will make the selection from everything just bc hes the one paying it?

I wondering that bc my fiance pleases me alot but i would like the wedding my way (i know every women wants a big one) but i would be just happy celebrating outdoors over autumn foliaged (its gonna be in Scranton, PA) in a place where is outdoors/indoors. totally formal.

how can i talk about it with him? the wedding is very important for him (hes the first of getting in his family) and he have a HUGE family. from my part, it will be only atteding like proly 15 ppl or less.

My bf and i were each others firsts, we are in college, and the only position that works is girl on top, i'm not complaining but it is starting to get old, he just can't really seem to get it in in any other positions or if we try them then we don't experience as much pleasure, i'm kind of at a loss. i know that others guys are capable of doing different things that works, so if you have any ideas, let me know. its not like we aren't flexible, please help

My girlfriend and I had big disagreement the other night. We had an argument because she thinks its 'reasonable' to spend $35k upwards on a wedding. Not including honeymoon! I said I think its a bit ludicrous.

Her arguments are:

- You only get married once (You hope anyway)
- You have to invite all family otherwise they think u will snob them (She has big family)
- Dont be a tight ****!
- This is the day I been waiting for my whole life

My arguments are
- Its a day that only WE will remember the most, to others its really a wedding
- A better part of the $30k can go towards a world trip, another investment property
-A big debt like that can put you further back than you think
- You can enjoy a wedding with the effort and time without spending the world!
-I dont have all that money to go toward a wedding

I need ideas of how we can work this out. I really love her so much its just something we cant agree on.

Usually, I'm the one who's giving advice, but this problem escapes me. I just can't make up my mind. Here's the story:

Okay, I met this girl in 7th grade & we became best friends. We always said we would be MOH in e/o's wedding someday. When I got a serious BF eventually, we'd always talk about it & stuff. Well, we roomed together our first year of college & it turned out bad after a few months. Then we had this summer apart, & she seemed to get over things. But I am not. She said vicious things about me behind my back, and to my face, & turned several friends against me (just not outwardly against me, in a way). She did it all "nicely" though if you know what I mean? Well, when I got engaged this summer, I'm assuming she assumed to be my MOH, but I have not asked her to be yet, nor do I plan to. We still talk a LITTLE bit, but not much.

My husband and I have been together for 4 years, we have a baby and we got married this past july at the town hall. We had no ceremony at all, we didn't even bring our own witnesses. I did this with the understanding that we would have a real wedding-dress, cake, guests, etc. Also, I want a wedding ring-I ended up buying a fake for $25 on ebay and have been wearing it because I'm too ashamed to be ringless in public when people know I just got married. Getting married soon, and struggling with a song for the recessional. We have an instrumental piano for the processional.
