Many years ago I kept a journal. An in that journal I wrote a letter to god. In this letter I asked God to bring me someone special. Who was intelligent, diverse, cultured, and funny just to name a few? I wrote down so many qualities I really didn’t think there could be a person out there to fit it. I was wrong. God brought me you and you are everything and more that I wished and prayed for. You make me laugh, you warm my heart, and you make me feel loved and protected. You are without a doubt my night and shinning armor my hero. I pleg to spend all of my live right by your side! Through thick and thin, good times and bad. You are my love forever. I am the luckiest woman in the world to be marrying her soul mate. For that. I thank you. I love you.

I don't want to exchange written vow's i want to do that by the book, but am wanting to say something from the heart...how's this

Hey! i am 17 and have been engaged for about 3 months. I just had a set of twins (one boy and one girl) and, my fiance and I have moved in together. I am planning the wedding, but with two babies, school, and family it's hard. Plus.. its majorly expensive! Anyway, i was asking if anyone knew any ways to make it easier and cheaper. My fiance, Travis, is working and attending college so, its hard on him too! We want to have a medium sized wedding.. and like i said its been stressful! anyway, i would have my mom giving me advice, but since she hasnt talked to me since i got pregnant.. thats not a big help.!

I am getting married and I don't want to put step-mother on the wedding programs. My definition of a step parent is someone who steps in to help take care of you, which I was an adult when my mom passed away. My dad remarried a few years back. I have an okay relationship with his wife but I don't consider her as a "step-parent". I always relate to her as my dad's wife but I don't want to be rude and put that on the programs.

life. Do peoples manners go out the window when it comes to a wedding? This woman called me and told me that she wants to be invited to my wedding. I called her back and told her that I do not have it in my budget, and that I didn't even know who she was when she called me and it wasn't anything personal,

I am 23 and my fiance is 21. We have been dating for 4 yrs and just recently got engaged. We have a 3 yr old son and a child on the way. I am Catholic and he is Jewish and not practicing. I would like to get married in the Catholic church he is totally agenst it. His mother is Jewish and his father is Catholic and they told him they wont allowe him to get married in the Catholic church bc his father had a bad expericence when he belong to the church. They said if he gets married in the church they wont ever talk to him again.

My family is telling me I have to get married in the Catholic church or they wont come to my wedding. They wont pay for my wedding or give me anything unless I get married in the church. They are pressuring us and my fiance is telling me if he keeps feeling pressured the wedding is off. They also think my fiance is controling me (this is not true)bc he is really agenst getting married in a church.

How do I make everyone happy without loosing him?

My mum and dad split up when i was 3yrs old and because of a lot of bad history since then, I am planning on eloping so that they won't be in the same room together when I get married. However, i'm worried that when I come back, my mum will be devastated because she couldn't see me marry. I CANNOT CANNOT CANNOT invite her though without inviting my Dad, and there's pretty serious reasons why I can't have them together.

I'm also worried because my partner's mum deserves to see her son get wed, but she can't because of all the past trouble my family has caused (I cant just invite his family without inviting mine).

What should i do?

PS: I DON'T WANT TO HEAR that I need to talk to them and make them be civil, trust me it's been 20 years and they still wont.

I'm thinking about combineing the two parties into one for a few reasons:

1: Almost all my friends are male and one is a bisexual female

2: I am myself bisexual and would rather see female strippers than male because they are just so hot.

3: If I had a bachelorette party there would be no one there because I never really hang out with women and am not even interested in the normal womany BS.

So, how could we combine the two without things going haywire?

My bf and I are in the planning stages of a wedding. We decided on a venue, budget, colors, theme and most importantly, the date! He presented it to his parents and his mom says we have to change the date because two of his cousins are also getting married on that day. (They live out of state). The problem I am having is that I love the date, we booked the church and a reception hall. My bf says if some of his fam and cousins don't make our wedding he will be upset and it will ruin his day! (I guess he wants these cousins in the wedding party) So he suggested we move the date so that everyone special in his life be able to attend. I really don't want to budge, but I love him and I know we should compromise. We have had this argument all day and I am tired of it! Who is right and who is wrong? It's my wedding and I should have what I want right? He's says all his family should be able to attend and we should budge because they planned this date first! Will someone please help us??? :)

Recently I got back in touch with a friend I went to high school with. I hadn't spoken to her since we graduated, 5 years ago. Well I have been invited to her wedding which is next weekend and I have no idea what to get her. Her soon to be husband and her have their own home and having been living together for a few years, so for the most part they have everything. I have looked threw all of the gift registries in the area and most of what they want is WAY over my budget. I am curious as what I should get her that isn't going to break my husband and I....Any suggestions would be wonderful..

I would like detail. I have the time to read. Thank you.

I really like using M&Ms as my favor. However, the personalized ones for the website are too expensive. I was thinking about just buying One Pound bags of M&Ms from the grocery store. I've seen them for as cheap at $2 a bag (on sale) I'm having 150 guests and I'm figuring everyone should get a quater(.25) of a pound each. That means I would need about 38 bags (I'd just round to 40 and have a few extra)

The cost would be about $80 for the M&Ms. I then would place them in cute little containers and attach a cute little poem to them.

My first name starts w/ a M and so does his. So, it's saying is about use being M&M (get it...cheesy I know)

I'm having a fall wedding, so I'll try getting the fall colors M&Ms. But, if I don't. Do you think this will be a good favor, regardless of what color M&Ms I use.

I'm trying to keep the favor cost to about $1-$1.25 per person. So far $80/150 is about .53 cents a person. I'm getting containers cheap by the bulk.

All the places we have been to want personal check or cashiers check for the reception and final payment due two weeks before our wedding day. Even if they made payments, they still can't pay that much cash for the wedding. What are some things that parents do to pay for the wedding?

My fiance's parents will pay for the rehearsal dinner and really that is what they can afford.

We will pay for the dress, accessories, and photography, etc.

Mom wants to take out cash advance but, I think the interest is high, someone else said her parents borrowed against their 401k...I just want a reasonable answer for them. Please help.

Hi All,
First of all I don't want any one insulting my hubby. We both love eachother alot.

But I need to help him, he is very short-temp , if I say something that he does not want to hear, he will call me words I hate hearing. Like BI*** it hurts me alot, and when he is calm I tell him I hate that ..he says I say it to hurt you coz you annoy me sometimes. Its been 2 yrs marriage now and I we both can't imagine life without each other..so don't gv me divorce options.
If he wants to annoy me more, he starts singing and he makes a song saying oh my life is a mess since i married you blaa blaa..in a funny tone and high pitch. I want him to be matured but don't know what to do????

Counseling is something he won't even welcome, coz he finds all that funny.

If some one faces the same situation let me know.

My wedding is in less than a week and I just found out that two of my relatives (my grandmother and her 17 year old adopted daughter) who at first said they would not come, are now coming to the wedding. I know it sounds horrid of me but it makes me kind of upset that they are coming. The reason for this is because they both constantly argue with each other in public for the most ignorant reasons and both a VERY VERY bossy and yell at you when they don't get their way. Well I was informed when they arrive they were going to help setting up everything the day before the wedding. I am so stressed out with the wedding that I'm afraid if they "help" that I'm just going to explode on the both of them. Has anyone ever been in a situation close to this? How can I handle it if things get out of hand with them without losing my temper?

I used to be a music major (singing) but now, as a junior, I am changing to music education so that I'll actually be able to, you know, get a job! :)

Anyway, I am transferring to another college. I saw my counselor this morning and he said that's fine because I already have a lot of the required classes, but because now I am dealing with education it will take me an extra year. Is graduating at 23 instead of 22 really okay?
