We are getting married May 08 and i am going to have pink roses and my bridemaids are wearing tea cup black dress with a pink ribbon around the waist. What would be a good idea for some centerpieces?

I absolutely love pink, black and white! Several suggestions would be...
1. http://www.ebride.tv/showthread.php?t=1889 The first photo...
Have clear glass votives with pink and white candles, but instead of the glass bubbles, have pink real or silk rose petals scattered and black irridescent ribbon instead of opaque ribbon.

2. http://atlasteventplanning.com/Our_Portfolio.php The first section, the middle photo- Use a black ribbon around the clear vase (unless you want polka dots!) and use black cloth napkins at each place setting to incorporate black into a mainly pink table. I think alot of pink with just touches of black looks very elegant.

3. http://atlasteventplanning.com/Our_Portfolio.php The third section down, photo on the right of the reception table. I love this look and the fact that the chairs are black as well only adds to the total look! The only think I might change would be to put glass underneath the tall centerpiece and have a couple of the votives on the glass for reflective purposes.

good luck...you should have a beautiful wedding!

Hi and congratulations!

I LOVE that color combination.

Here is what I would do. Obviously, you will be having white table linens. Get a black vase (it can be a bud vase). Here is a site that sells them in bulk:

Then I would get a couple of pink roses and some greens. Here is a site that you can buy roses wholesale:

There are LOTS of pink ones to choose from.
Have each vase with 2-3 roses and some greens. Put it all on a mirror with some votives or tealights next to it. Easy, elegant and beautiful!

You could use a square vase, use different shades of pink roses and use a black ribbon around the vase. Cute and simple.

Here is an idea: vases with white sand at the bottom, black smooth rocks on top of sand and pink roses in the vase. We decorate like that for many occassions. It is beautiful and not to pricey!!! Have a beautiful wedding.

Black and pink miniature gift boxes with white candy inside shaped like roses or vice versa inside of a clear bowl with some fabric draped about it.

White roses in a vase, with a black and pink ribbon tied around the middle of the vase.

Cupcake trees - pink holders, white cake, white frosting and black sprinkles.

I think maybe long wide vases....
Put white flowers in there and fill with water...and the bottom of it put small tea cup black and pink flower petals with some kind of candles... Be very pretty..and elegant.

I think pink gerbera daisies would be nice with some bear grass.. or just by themself. Just get a bud vase and use 1 daisy and a few strings of bear grass and ta-da!! you have a centerpiece.

Sounds to me like you could do alot with those colors.
Depending upon what area of the country you live in and how early/late in my your wedding is, find out what flowers will be coming up.
my first thought was that you could do assorted tulips if it is early in May. Just set them into a nice vase/centerpiece.
You could also do candles in your colors!
