I'm getting married and unfortunately I have 2 brothers and my fiance has 2 brothers. We both don't have any sisters. Since the groom chooses the best man and groomsmen, he chose his brothers and 2 of his friends for the best man/groomsmen roles. I have no problem with that. But I would like to include my brothers somehow in the wedding. Our wedding isn't going to be really religious or anything so there won't be any biblical readings. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can include my 2 brothers?

My boyfriend and I have been together about a year and a half and are getting engaged within a year. Our friends are getting married and I'm one of her bridesmaids. Well I was talking to my friend and she said that on the invitation it will say to Jessica and "a guest". But she said he's invited and the "guest" is him but his name won't be on it. I guess it's just suppose to be a what-if something happens. Which I think is stupid since we're getting married too. This really upsets him and I've tried telling him that it'll be ok and they want him there ect. But he seems really hurt by it. And I don't blame him. They're pretty much saying if anything happens with us hes uninvited bc he's not in the actual Wedding and I am, so i guess they can't uninvite me?. Idk he's so hurt by it and I don't know what else to say. He said he's only going to the wedding bc I want him to. What do you all think about this? What else can I say to help him feel better?

My galfriend is getting married after she graduates this year, and she and her fiance have been looking for a good wedding song. She says she thinks the song "How Do I Live", by LeAnne Rimes is a good one, but when I asked my mom's singer friend who sang it (before I knew it was LeAnne Rimes), he said it was a breakup song. I don't think it is, because she's saying IF the guy broke up with her, she'd be sad. (Examples: "How do I get through a night without you, IF I had to live without you, what kind of life would that be?", "You're my world, my heart, my soul, IF you ever leave, well baby you would take away everything good in my life.", "How do I breathe without you, IF you ever go", "I'd be lost IF I lost you"; etc.) What do y'all think? Predicament here! ^^

Where I am buying my fiance's wedding band, they will engrave up to 25 characters on the inside for free. I've always liked the idea of having something engraved on the inside, but we don't have a special saying or anything, and I don't wanna be boring and just put 'Love, Me' or the date.

Did anyone have their man's ring engraved? What did you say?

Any ideas on something I could put?

ok, so, first i wanted my wedding in december, but then talked myself out of it for various reasons. so we switched the date to october....but now i got the bright idea in my head to do it in april! urrgghh...
so...basicly...does anyone have any ideas that can sway me one way or the other, so i can pick a day in april, or a day in october, and STICK WITH IT???
our colors are red and black, and we're having a sort of rock and roll theme...
i live in Wisconsin, so weather is a major factor....
does anyone have any reasons why i should choose April?
reasons i should choose October?
i keep changing my mind, and i just am trying to picture what will work best! help me out!?

I am trying to compile a list of songs to be used to seat guests at an upcoming wedding. The songs will be played by a solo pianist, so I am looking for really pretty melodies. Some of the songs I have chosen so far are: Morning has Broken, What a Wonderful World, Have you ever really loved a woman, Fields of Gold. In this case, it's the music that matters most. A lot of songs are considered beautiful because they have really poetic lyrics, but since I won't be using the lyrics, I 'm trying to think of pretty melodies. I know there are 100s of them out there, but when I try thinking of them, I'm drawing blanks. Please, any suggestions? I will be using classical pieces only for the procession and recession and would prefer more contemporary melodies as people are seated. Also I am trying to steer clear of most of the standard run of the mill 'wedding songs'. Thanks for your help.

I met a girl that I like and want to ask out. She has come into my work a couple of times (Its part of her job) and we have talked. I knew I should have asked her out the last time I saw her but I got cold feet, Now I dont know when I will see her again, I may see her at work but it could be a week, a month or longer. I know where she works, so I was thinking about calling her work and asking for her, but I think that may be a little to scary and she may not like it. What should I do? Just wait ill she comes in again? or try to think of some other way to talk to her, like calling her at work? Any suggestions?

Our wedding is next year and I love fresh lemons so was wondering if anyone had any ideas for lemon centerpieces. I'd like an elegant touch! I'm tossing around ideas for our wedding and really don't have a clue where to start. I like so many colors but not a lot of people do yellow tones and I would like our wedding to stand out and be a little different than the "norm".

Is it just me or is everyone at David's Bridal rude????
I have went to David's Bridal a couple of times before this and the people were very rude from the moment I got there. The consultant I had seemed angry because I have 14+ bridesmaids and she had to fit all of them for dresses and then when she found out that the wedding wasn't until Jan. 2009 she became even ruder. Well to make a long story shorter; because I could go all day talking about them today I went in to rudeness again to pick up the bolero jacket for my dress and the lady at the counter was being rude and then I told her that I had changed the date of the wedding to April 2008--instantly her face lit up and she was more willing to help me. Why do they act like that??? Does the date of the wedding really make them change their attitudes towards you that drastically????

A friend is having a belated wedding reception (they eloped) and are going to serve hors d' oeuvres. She plans on serving enough to fill everyone up like a dinner would. There won't be formal seating, to encourage mingling. How do you word the invitation so that people won't eat dinner before attending the reception? Thanks.
