She lives outside for the most part, but I need to know what kind of worms she has, so I can give her medicine. The worms are long, thin, and white, and they come out of her anus occasionally. Are they tapeworms? Please help!

Sounds like tapeworms to me. I just treated my cat night before last. Let it fast for one day, and then treat it with the meds. If you want to take your cat to the vet, that's fine too, but he'll probably give you the same stuff available at your grocery store, co-op, or pet supply store.

You definitely need to be in the CATS category for the best answers.

If you ask the Vet they should be able to advise. There is a dewormer that takes care of more than just one type of worm (whip worms, hook worms, tape worms) So you should be able to give a general description and get a medicine that will take care of it.

Although I'd rather just take mine to the vet, they can be such pains about taking meds!!

Good luck!

Dont take her to the wedding!!!!.
I think they sound more like roundworms to me. Tapeworms
are flat, hence the name tapeworm. And they are in little sections. Get her treated asap. I would just use an allwormer treatment, a reputable one.
