I want my niece and my cousin's daughter (what relation would her daughter be to me, btw???) to both be my flower girls. When I get married (December 20 2008), they will both be almost 3 years old. I'm not sure if they'll be up to the task of walking down the aisle and scattering flower petals. Will they be old enough to be my flower girls???

I am going to my colleague's wedding in July. It is so called the duty wedding. I don't really want to stay there until the end. When is the appropriate time to leave?

Is it proper for the father of the bride who is hosting the reception to leave the non-smoking ballroom and go to the bar one floor down for a 45 minute cigar to celebrate the marriage.
During this time he will not be accessable to all guests at the reception. He looks at this as part of the celebration.

I'm thinking about doing a candy buffet. I will be having about 150 guests, including just 2 children. How much candy should I have for each guest, 1/2 a pound or 1/4 of a pound. What do people think?

Got an idea for an inscription on the wedding ring to him. We are always doing the childish "I love you " with our hands. You know the one. So how does "Pinky, Pointer, thumb" sound or if you have a better way to say that i want to hear it.

I am muslim, and wasnt very religious before. i fell in love with a hindu and we are really in love. but now i got kind of religious and islam forbids that i marry a hindu. we had an argument and broke up and during that time we set up a meeting with a family to discuss marriage. however now i am back with my hindu bf and i cant decide where to go. if i got with him, then i will go to hell, but be completely happy forever here on earth. if i got with the muslim family i will have a high status in society and maybe go to jenna. this is a question between love and religion, and i dont know whose heart i will have to break to answer it... help!

My reception site only holds 600 and at the moment we have a 700 person guest list. My father hasn't even added his list to the master list and I am beginning to freak out. I have some time before the wedding, but I have no idea where to begin cutting. Any ideas?

I'm wanting to get about 100 glass votives for my wedding and needing a good price. Does anyone know of a website or store that might have what I need? If you've ever bought from a place online let me know how satisfied you were with your purchase. Thanks!

I have decided not to hire a photographer for the reception of my wedding, since they are different days (destination wedding). I have a nice SLR camera but don't want to take pictures myself. Who should take the pictures?? I don't really want to bother my family members, but I guess I could always look for a volunteer. Plus, I don't really want to use those silly disposible cameras, they never look good. Any ideas?

Why do we have to pay thousands of dollars on a dress that (let's face it) either gets thrown in a closet or dry cleaned and stored in a box in our garage? Our daughters will never really where it. Guys only have to pay a couple hundred bucks for their tux. Woudn't we rather spend the money else where for our wedding?

I really want gift cards BUT ONLY from people that can afford it and want to give wholeheartedly with good feelings. I figured if I state "Please no gifts" then people who really want to give will give. Will that work? I am so confused. I am still a student and I can really use money or gift cards. But, at the same time
I don't want anyone to feel obligated.

If I don't state anything on the card, many people might give me recycled gifts and I will be under their obligation. If I state "Please no boxed gifts" then everyone will feel obligated to bring me gifts. Please help!

I think if you turely love someone it shouldn't matter the size of the ring or how big the wedding is. I think if you are ready to get married none of these things matter. There is always time to do it right. What ever happened to tying a sting around the finger and getting married in a field?? LOL!
