They each will appear at the wedding and be involved. They each are in seperate relationships but they cant stand eachother. Where do I put them? How do I deal with that?

My fiance and I are planning this enormous wedding and my parents are paying for it all. It going to be beautiful, exactly what I dreamed about since I was a little girl. Everything is perfect, and I want my wedding party to match. My maid of honor and bridesmaids are all very pretty, and are the best man and groomsmen. We are using my cousin's son as our ring beare and he is adorable. The problem is the flower girl, it's a tradition in my fiance's family to use kids from actually inside the family, something about passing on fertility or something. I don't know. The only little girl of the appropriate age is my fiance's brother's daughter (she's seven) and she is just ugly. Not just plain, but just an ugly little girl. I don't think she can even fit in the cute dress I want her to wear. She weighs close to a hundred pounds already!!! My question is, do I really have to keep her in my wedding party? I think she is going to ruin the day! Or should I just keep her?

Father of only daughter came to rehearsal and gave daughter away at the wedding. He gave no gift and offered no explanation at the time. Should some one find out why he did this, or just let him off the hook?

Does the bride pay for the husband's wedding band, so it's like an exchange? Or is the man supposed to pay for both?

Me and my boyfriend moved to america last yr, and got engaged, the wedding is next september.
A few yrs ago i fell out with my family over stupid stuff regarding my dad. we made up and are closer than ever, he still lives at home and we talk on the phone regularly, today i spoke to him about the wedding and he informed me that its just him, my step mom and my 2 brothers comingout for the wedding and none of my other family is coming, im so upset, my fiance has his whole family coming, maybe about 50 people and all i have is 4 coming from my family, and my bridal party,
Should i be upset that none of my relatives are coming out, im heart broken, this is supposed to be the happiest day of my life and i dont know if i will be happy because of my relatives. i dont know if i want to put off the wedding and go back home to get married or just have my wedding here and f*ck everyone else,
wat should i do...?

I am getting married in August of this year, and we are having problems deciding what color the tuxes should be. My dress is diamond white, and the bridesmaid dresses are cream and bronze (alexia link below). We had originally picked out black tuxes, but yesterday when we put the black tuxes next to the bridesmaid dresses, they looked awful together! We opted for latte tuxes for the groom and groomsmen, and chocolate tuxes for the dads. Do you think these go well together? I am leary of brown tuxes because I have never seen them before for a wedding. And what color flowers should we go with now?

I'm trying to properly word my wedding invitations and I just can't seem to please everyone. I'm now argueing with both my fiance and mother over something I believe to be pretty trivial. My fiance hasn't spoken to his mother in over 10 years and obviously she is not going to be invited to the wedding (touchy subject). So, we didn't want to state in the invitations "along with their parents". My fiance just wanted it to say our names "request the honour of your presence". At the same time, my mother (and step-dad) is paying for a fairly large portion of the reception hall which includes the food. My father can't help as he's undergoing radiation and chemo treatments and he has no insurance. My mother wants parents names to be included on the invitations and has now offered to pay for half of them if we do so. So, that would include both my mother, step-dad, my dad, and my fiance's dad and step-mother. Help?

My step sister is getting married in a few months. I have to travel from CT to Chicago for her wedding and it's costing me about $800 for airline, hotel, and other travel expenses. Chicago tax is very high. Do I need to also give her a wedding gift if the cost of me just going to this wedding is so high? We are not very close, never have been. Only see eachother once or twice a year for a few hours other than that we don't talk. Oh and by the way, my kids can't go....it's a no kids wedding. But my other step sisters two kids are going...they're in the wedding. My husband is also not going, too expensive. So the above cost I mentioned is the cost for just me. Crazy..huh!

I ordered a dress from David's Bridal. It is supposed to arrive August 1st. My wedding is August 11th. We had to pay for it up front. They assured me that in the past 4 years they have only had one dress arrive later than promised. It does make me nervous. We paid with a credit card. I have heard that no sale is really final when paid by credit card.

Does anyone have any related experience with this? I just want to know my options BEFORE anything goes wrong. And if the dress doesn't arrive in time, obviously, I won't need it.

I am also holding on to an older gown that could work if I need a backup plan. It's a little big for me, but since it's a lace up back, it would be OK in a pinch.

i was thinking about just having my first name inscribed on the back of them, but since my bf bought them for me i was thinking of putting a message that he wants on them . i just want something on them their worth over $2500 each and i have 5 of them, i hate the thought of someone stealing them from me, so to have something on the back would make me less worried. i know they can always change the band but it would most likely be a loser with no money that would steal it so they probably wouldnt be able to afford to change the bands , then at least i might be able to find them again.
sorry about the long details lol i've had them for a few years now but i still worry .

I'm organising my sisters Hen night, and we have a weekend away planned, and also a night out at home. I'm trying to think of little surprises that we could do for her - to make her night more special. Already thinking on getting t-shirts for the away bit, and limo for the night out at home. Also, have you got any ideas for a unique yet classy theme?

My cousin who is supposed to be my maid of honor ... to make a long story short she fell in love with a man that she decided she couldnt be with because of religion issues and she stopped seeing him for a while she started talking to him again (which i dont approve of he made her pretty much feel like crap after the break up and now she is crawling back to him) but when i ask her a question about him she says its not my busniess and we are supposed to be best cousins and today she asked me to come on a boat ride with him and my other cousin and i told her i wanted to be with my fiance of course she has a short temper so she got upset and was like W.e how am i supposed to react to this i dont want to ruin my wedding day and my fiance is not controling but thinks i should just leave her alone if "its none of my busniess" like she said
i still love her and want her to be in my wedding but im starting to change my mind what are some opinions keep in mind she has a short temper :/

My boyfriend and I aren't engaged, but we have been dating for 3 years. Everytime we attend a wedding together, I can't help but look at wedding stuff-dresses, reception, ceremony details in the days after. My friend joked that I have my whole wedding with my boyfriend planned out. I don't

Is this bad. I'm not nessacarily just obssessed with a wedding itself. But, I look online for houses we could buy together, etc.

Is my small obssession bad?

My boyfriend and I are purchasing an engagement ring from and individual that is divorced. Since we bought it we have been fighting and I would like to get the ring blessed if it has bad karma. Does anyone know of how to do this? We do not have a priest to get this done.

I am selling my wedding gown and I am having a hard time letting go!

I am happily married, and my wedding was about 1 year and 4 months ago and I just came to the realization that my wedding gown ($1,500 value!) is now useless, and just there gathering dust! I put it up for sale, but I am having such a hard time letting go and don't know how I am going to feel when I actually sell it!

Anybody else gone through this before? Any advice on how to let go of it easier?

Ever since my fiance and I got engaged, his family has been horrible. I won't go into details (his family has said/done horrible things), but I will say that their negativity is unjust. I have never been anything but as polite as possible to them. The negativty stems from his mother, who is upset because she feels as if she is losing her son, who is her sole source of support, which is very unhealthy. The bottom line is that his family refuses to be supportive, no what my fiance and I say or do.

They are refusing to attend the wedding. My fiance insists that if they did they would cause a spectacle. I agree. Now he wants to elope. He thinks it'll be cheaper and easier. I want to have my dream wedding, even if only my family attends. I don't want to compromise my dream because of his family. In the back of my mind, I am hoping they will change their mind, but I know they won't. They really and truly hate me for being engaged to my fiance.

What should I do???

She is large (a size 20) and refuses to wear a dress. She fights with me about not looking good in anything, it seems like she doesn't even want to try to look for anything.

She said that she won't wear what I think would be cute (empire-waist dress) because it looks like a maternity dress...but does she have any other choice of something looking good on her?

I have no idea how to dress a large body... i'm a size 4. What in the heck will look good on her???

I'm not that great of a planner, and i'm not sure what colors or decorations to do for my wedding. My save the date cards look like this in these colors: http://myweddingreceptionideas.com/chocolate_brown_blue_filigree_magnet_favors.asp
and my invitations are these: http://www.weddingpaperdivas.com/products/ProductView_297.htm

I'm getting married here: http://www.calamigos.com/weddings_about.asp
it's very woodsy and it's in the evening, and they have twinkle lights up in the trees and candles lit hanging in those enclosed candle holder thingys, also on tree branches, so it's very pretty naturally.....any help though on more ideas, would be GREATLY appreciated!
