I am 33 years old and my girlfriend is 30 years old. Her feelings for me is very deep. She loves me so much. She wants me to marry her and I know it. going to have him be his best man. Well, his parents basically told us that if he is there, they wont be there. It puts my fiance in a horrible positon. On one side he has his parents who have been there for him and then he has his best friend who has been there also. Granted they did bad things together, and I understand where his parents are coming from but then again, my fiance is upset that he basically has to tell his best friend that he cant come. Also, since his best friend cant come, he is not going to invite any of his other old friends. What is your advise????

so heres the story. my boyfriend and i live together but before we moved in together i told him i had to be at least engaged to live with a guy. he said we will get marrid, but he just started a new job and wanted job security before he made a commitment to buying a ring etc... so he's working for the new company for a little over a month now and things are great bwt us and we have been looking at rings every weekend. he was really close to buying a ring last weekend, but i told him i wanted it to be a surprise and the only reason i was ring shopping with him was to give him an idea of what i liked. anyways, now i feel like i ruined my whole surprise of being proposed to and that kinda means a lot to me. its like, i know hes going to propose, i know the kind of ring he wants to buy and i know its all happening pretty soon. i cant take back time, but do you think i will still be surprised and it will still be a memorable moment in my life?
