i've been with my fiance for almost 4 years & we're getting married in 7 months. but there's this guy from the US who kept on telling me that i'll be happier if i choose him. he was my classmate from college, we never really get to know each other when we were in college. he went to the US & i went to Canada after grad. we began chatting, he said that he fell in love with me bcoz i was really friendly & sweet. he was single that time but i was with my fiance that time. i told him that i "liked" him. we even call each other from time to time. but that actually stopped coz i realized that i was doing the wrong thing.

last week this guy from the US & i chatted for almost 4 hours. he said that he still have feelings for me. i already told him that im getting married. he asked me why i never gave chance to the feelings that i had for him. im confused, i don't know what to do. am i cheating? what do i do? i love my fiance so much but i like this other guy.

I'm thinking about doing a destination wedding if I can't have a parisian theme wedding at a church. I need help wording the invitations that it's a destination wedding and although you can't be here with us we would like for you to join us back home for the reception.
Something similar like what I just wrote would help.
Thanks

At the end of the movie when her niece gets married, the wedding was so beautiful. I'm in the beginning stages of planning my wedding and was wondering where can I get that theme. It was a parisian theme. Very, very beautiful.
I would like to recreate that wedding scene.

All I could find to rent for my wedding this summer are white metal folding chairs with white seats. I've not seen the chairs, I don't know if I will before the wedding since I'm renting them from out of town. I'm buying some 1.5" wide ribbon and plan on just wrapping the top of each chair just once and then attaching some decoration on the back where the ends of the ribbon will meet. The ribbon is white, pink and green stripes. Any ideas on how much ribbon per chair would be needed, I'm guessing for an average size folding chair, and what to put for the decoration on the back? Links would be helpful too! Oh and it will be an outdoor wedding next to a waterfall. Thanks!

I'm just in the beginining of looking at ideas for wedding things. I love swans and also doves. Me and my fiance found a nice swan cake topper that we both love. we also found swan favor candy holders and I also saw cute dove figurines attached to ribbons. i was thinking of taking the ribbons with the doves on them and tying it around the swans neck. What does everyone think of this? Let me know.

My dress is egg shell, which is not bright white, but not quite ivory, its closer to white. The top of my dress has bright white lace on it. Will it look weird if my flower girl is in a light ivory dress and my groomsmen and groom wear ivory shirts under their black ties? Will is look weird if everything is ivory but I'm more white???

Is there any way to do this? It's a relative, so I can't offend her or anyone in the family. I don't think I'm going to be able to un-ask her, so I'll probably just have to deal with it, and not invite someone I'd rather have be in it. Is there any way to do this nicely without offending anyone?

I am paying for my sisters dress (she is my maid of honor). I told my best friend who is my bridesmaid that I would like to be able to pay for her dress too, but that since it was so far away and I hadn't really got into the planning yet I don't know for sure if I will be able to. I told her this about a month ago or so. The wedding isn't until May of 08. Come to find out, she will need to buy her own b/c I am still short the money for a photographer. Is it wrong to ask her if she would feel comfortable paying for her own dress. And like I said this is my best friend so it's not like "rude" means the same thing as it would if it were just an aquaintance...meaning she would be understanding. I just don't know what to do or what to say. I had made it a point to mention that I didn't know if I would have the money to do this, though.

I was thinking of having a dessert reception instead of a full meal after my wedding. What time should I have it? I was thinking around 8 or 9pm after everyone has had dinner but will that keep the guests' kids up too late (the kids are all invited to the wedding and reception)? I also thought about 3pm after lunch but we have rented the reception site for all day and I don't want people to have their desserts and then get hungry for real food and leave around 6 or so. I hoped the dancing and fun would go on until late into the night. What should I do?

i have a nice wedding dress embroidered with beads & pearls, very pretty, and also a set of rings (man's, petit engagement, and wedding band, all with small diamonds in the band) but the women's wedding band was cut off my finger by the paramedics. i want to sell them all, as i have been divorced, but not sure what the best course of action would be. i'm sure i should get the dress cleaned (but it's not stained or anything), but should i get the ring repaired or sell 'as is'? and where would be the best place to sell them each?

I was thinking of working with pastel greens and blues, should I plan on incorporating any other colors. Is two colors too limiting?

Ok, so here is the deal. The invitation I like and the flowers I want use primarily are red roses. I have dark purple dresses with accents of silver and gold. I am having the bridesmaids wear purple dresses with white roses and I will have an ivory dress with red roses.

Will the red of my roses clash with their purple dresses?

mom thinks so...

I don't have much money, and I bought a half carot diamond engagement ring. It's very pretty, it has little diamonds on the sides which accent the diamond itself. Do you think it's totally lame? I wish it could be bigger and better, but damn, rings are expensive

After the caterer, booking the banquet hall, the DJ and everything else, we cannot afford to buy them their dresses. Would it be ok traditionally to ask them to buy their own?

I am the matron of honor in my sister's wedding. She also wants my 4year old daughter to be a flower girl and my 7year old son to be a miniature groom. Who should pay for what from attire to accessories including flower basket and such. We are on a tight budget which she knows. Her and her fiance bring in at least triple the income we do. I don't think she's considering it. I guess that's the main reason I'm asking. Thank you.

I have centerpeices, cake topper, toasting glasses, rev & ceremony script, DJ and song list, invitations, transportation, dresses, ceremony and reception site, the food, photographer and decorations, baker guestbook but I feel ilike I'm forgetting something, and for all you jokers yes I have the groom

Along the lines of...
"My Best Friend" - Alan Jackson
"She's Everything" - Brad Paisley
"It Just Comes Natural" - George Strait

And there can be some honkytonk songs too. I'm a country girl and I want my wedding reception to be rowdy :P

A recommendation for a first dance song would also be good. I'm not looking for anything too mushy.

Thank you!

This seems to be a recurring fight with my fiancé. I need to show him how to budget. I have budget myself for years and I owned a home by myself before meeting him. He on the other hand lived in an apartment as as long as he made the rent and had $20 for electricity, he party the rest of his money away. He need his car fixed and new work boots so he charged about $1,000 on my credit card- OK, rough but it was for stuff he had to have. His car has to be fixed so he can get to work and his work boots fell apart- so he had to have new ones. Then I find out he went to a bar with a friend and charged $40.00 and then he played the lottery at work and owed someone $20.......when he's already spend $300 in Vegas because he was out there on a conference and it just keeps going on. And he doesn't understand that he priority and values are out of order. He thinks we have this never ending well of money because we have two salaries but we are trying to fix up a house and pay for a wedding. He's solution to this problem was for me to get lower cover on my car insurance so he doesn't have to change his habits. When I tell him the heating bill is $350 for this month- he solution is to turn off the heat and we'll just wear coats inside the house so he doesn't have to stop going to the bar.
I need websites and books that can help me explain and show him how to budget. I need "proof" to show him how people budget money.
Any links or website or suggestion are greatly appreciated.

My fiance and I have narrowed down our invitations to two. Which one do you think will be better?

I'm having a fall themed wedding with a leaf decor, however, there will be mini orange calla lilies in the bouquets. I could really use either one, but what do you think?
We like them both, so I'm just looking for opinions.

I'm getting married in the summer. My bridesmaids are in navy blue and the groom and groomsmen are wearing flower of scotland kilts and I'm not sure what they should wear at their necks! I'm not a big fan of navy ties and black jackets. Should they wear black bow ties, black rouge ties or tartan rouge ties or a mixture of these. Has anyone had a similar problem? Or can anyone point me in the direction of a photograph of a wedding party with this combination of navy bridesmaids and flower of scotland tartan? I just want to make sure I get it right and can't visualise what the best combination would be. Thanks.
