I'm thinking about doing a destination wedding if I can't have a parisian theme wedding at a church. I need help wording the invitations that it's a destination wedding and although you can't be here with us we would like for you to join us back home for the reception.
Something similar like what I just wrote would help.
Thanks

I would definitely check out this site:

http://www.invitationconsultants.com/sw-wedding.aspx

I used this site to create the wording on both my Wedding Invitations and the Reception Cards. If you click on the subheadings - "Eloped" and "Wedding Announcement", I think you will find something that suits you. Both of those categories have examples of Invitations to the reception, and of course it mentions that you have already married.

I hope this helps!

I think that sounds great. Word the invitation like "We are getting married @ blah, blah, blah, and would love for you to help us celebrate! The reception will be at blah, blah, blah" Don't even give a time or location of the wedding. The guests can ask you if they want details, but I'm sure they would love to just come to the reception - that's the funnest part!

Here's a link to the website I used to word my invitations. I'm not having a destination wedding but there are lots of categories to choose from. I just used different parts of different verses to try and make it my own. Good Luck!
