For approximately 25-35 people. Must be nice but not too expensive--$5-15 per plate would be fine. It's a brunch for a bride and groom the morning after their marriage.

In a wedding does the bride have to have a veil?
My mom said she didn't use one, but now I realized everyone i'e seen get married has a veil but usually the hair under is much prettier...do I have to use a veil on my wedding?
I don't know if it's something Big or if it's your choice or if you have to....

Is it fair to have them drive 50 minutes to go to my wedding? I found a place that is beautiful, it is also 35 minutes from where I live. Should it matter?

I am getting married in June and my parents are Christian. They really want to have a nominally Christian ceremony. I on the other hand would be more comfortable with a Wiccan ceremony. Unfortunately most of my relatives would not come to a Wiccan wedding, and having them with me on my wedding day is very important. So as you can see I'm very conflicted.

this is the situation. ive been dating my fiance for over 4 years we have a 7 month old son so technically i call him my husband and he calls me his wife. anyways david my fiance finally feels that marriage is something we should do. so do i. when i mentioned it to his mom, the first time she said she didnt want me to have there last name, originally its her she kept her last name instead of the guys for her kids, and now shes acting like it was the last thing she wants to hear. i asked for her blessings but never got a real responce. now i feel like telling my fiance i dont want to get married cause everytime the subject comes up with his family, its a huge issue? what should i do. ive tried for 4 years to get his mother to like me, after my sons birth she does, but i still think she doesnt. she acts like the only reason she likes me is for tyson??? any comments. SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE

I'm getting married in June, and we don't really have a song of our own, but I'd like a song saying how lucky I am to have found her...so glad we met, that she's what I was missing, etc.

wedding dress? So far I have lost over 300 pounds, and am losing about 35 pounds a month, I'm getting married June 30th. I have no idea how much weight I may lose by then, so I don't know when to start looking. Anyone have any ideas?

I'd prefer ones where you can build your own ring. Thanks.

I have 3 beautiful sons and wanted to have a special dance for my wedding day with them and was curious if anybody had any suggestions about a song for a mother and her sons to dance to.

I admit, they had me. But I did some research and found out you can see her adjust her wig with about 26 seconds to go.

My boyfriend and I dated for 4 years in college, and we are about to graduate. He is going to get a 2 year master's and I will be going to medical school for 4 years. I wanted to get married in between these transition stages, AKA this fall-- but he has a bunch of guys that are getting men's housing together, kind of like a frat except not affiliated with anything. He thinks it would be fun and beneficial for him to live a year with these guys before getting married, and build better relationships with them and all...

I feel conflicted. Should I give him this year that he wants, and maybe more? Should I give him as long as he wants before getting married? Or do I have a say in when I want to get married? Please help.

My future S-I-L has been making rude comments to me ever since I dropped out of her bridal party. She says things like "I only talk to you because I'm marrying your brother", or "I shouldn't even be talking to you", or "you're only being invited to the rehearsal dinner because your husband is still in the bridal party". I didn't drop out last minute, I gave her 10 months advance notice enough to find a replacement (which she did). Prior to her engagement we were practically best friends, now I hardly hear from her. When she says those things I try to bite my tongue to keep the peace. Shoud I keep taking her insults? The wedding is next month and I don't want hard feelings. What do I do? Why is she so mad?

I have five bridesmaids (4 + MOH). I was wondering what the proper etiquette is as far as their hair and makeup for the day. Do they pay for it themselves or am I supposed to? (I know everyone has a feeling on this; I'm looking for what ETIQUETTE says I do)

My mother wants to go to this place she heard about, she wants herself, me, my FMIL, and perhaps my sister (MOH) to go. I don't think it's fair to my BM's who might want their hair/makeup done, too. But I also feel bad asking them to pay.

Another problem I have with this is that one of the bridesmaids has very difficult hair. It's naturally curly; it is shoulder length but if she were to straighten it it would be past her butt: THAT curly. She finds it difficult to have anyone new style her hair. If I go to this place, what about her?

And, kind of a poll here......What would you prefer as a gift, the jewelery for the day (if I don't give it they can wear whatever they want) or hair and makeup? What would YOU want?
