I'm having a disney princess wedding. the theme is
"Happily Ever After; Fairy Tales Do Come True"

I'm stuck on a lot of things and can use ANY suggestions. What I'm looking for now is favor ideas perhaps. Becuase most of the actual Disney brand favors(Disney brand EVERYTHNG) is expensive..... I need some suggestions for favors that dont actually have to come from Disney, but that would still fit the "Princess" theme.... and be not so expensive. I will be haivng close to 200+ people at my wedding.... so I'm trying to keep favor prices down... (Most of the disney things I fould are 5$ each, 5 dollars multiplied by 200 people is TOOO MUCH!).... any suggestions?

My fiancé's family live on a farm in Austria and we have decided to hold our wedding reception in a newly built horse barn. It is very smart inside, but plain and much too large for the number of guests that we are inviting. Do you have any ideas how I can decorate to make it look elegant.

My fiancee and I plan to marry in early april. We really have no money to work with. We would like something very small and intimate. Just ourselves, kids, and parents. Any ideas on where the ceremony can take place and ideas for a small intimate reception? We live in Georgia.

I have set my wedding date for the 22nd of March 2008, and decided to ask family to see if they could come. Everyone was very happy except my elder brother who incedently is getting married 2 months later on the 17th May 2008. He refuses to allow us to be married within 6 months of his wedding. He has paid £3000 towards his wedding costs so far, but if I was to agree to change my date, then the venue we picked will not be availble until 2009. We had our hearts set on this venue and need to lay our deposit down any day now. Should I agree to change the date much against the advice of the family of my financee - or should I remain adiment that my brother has no right to affect the date that I should get married as he is not contributing towards our marriage?

I am looking for a veil and I have been told that if you have rhinestones on it, they show up as little black dots in the pictures.
Is this true?

Hi, I don't have much experience yet with wedding invitations. I've only been to weddings as a date thus far and have never had to worry about replying to invitations.

Anyways, this is just a quick question. The RSVP card simply has a line that reads "M_______________" and below it, a box for Yes and box for No. These are probably dumb questions, but I wanted to be sure.

1) Do I just put, "Mr. [My name]" on that "M" line?

2) There is no room to note a +1, but since I'm bringing a date should I also put a "(+1)" after my name? (The invitation said "and guest" so I know a +1 is ok)

Thanks!

What do you think of wearing a claddagh ring as an engagement ring and then a wedding ring? I'm not Irish, but my fiancee is, and I like the symbolism behind it. Do you know anyone who wears one as their engagement/wedding ring?

(We asked this in another category, but intended it to be under "wedding")
My fiance and I are planning a "Cinco de Mayo" themed Jack and Jill. We are looking for games/ideas to make extra money (or just for fun) to play throughout the day. We'd love to hear ideas and games that were a hit at other Jack and Jill's or Stags. (Don't have to be Cinco de Mayo related)

We are planning to get married in Jamaica in January of 2008 and would like to have a reception/party once we return. I wasnt sure of the time frame of how long after we got back when we should have the reception. I was also thinking that it would be pretty dumb to wear the dress I would be wearing to get married (probably something light and short since its the beach). Would it make more sense to wear a different dress that isnt white? Thoughts and input are appreciated!

Need help looking for undergarments. Went to David's and they put me in the standard corset which pushed my boobs to my neck, and I couldn't freakin breathe!! Any suggestions for long line bras, etc that will smooth me, but not push my boobs out and have me in pain the entire time?? Thanks!

80 is a big deal in our family since most of the family has passed on in thier 50s , 60s or 70s ,she was born & raised in Ga. & she loves her flowers & the color purple or lavender so i was thinking of a wisteria & lace theme with the colors lavender & green with lace table clothes, any ideas or web sights to check out for ideas would be so helpfull , the food will be catered to make it easyer on my sister & i, she has out lived all her sisters, my father & 2 sons so we want this to be very special since her health is failing & we dont know how much longer she will be with us, p.s. she allso has alzihmers so her memory is`nt real sharp any more ,but stuff like this seems to stay with her longer then other stuff.the party is in july & will be in a rented hall since no one has a house big enough to hold it at ,so there goes a big part of our budget since we are retired & live on a limited budget our selfs. THANKS

I am getting married in several months an I am on a tight budget because I'm a recent college graduate. I'm looking to give my fiance a great honeymoon. She wants to be somewhere in the Carribean. Does anyone know of a good place to get a great honeymoon at a price that won't kill me?
