I'm having a disney princess wedding. the theme is
"Happily Ever After; Fairy Tales Do Come True"

I'm stuck on a lot of things and can use ANY suggestions. What I'm looking for now is favor ideas perhaps. Becuase most of the actual Disney brand favors(Disney brand EVERYTHNG) is expensive..... I need some suggestions for favors that dont actually have to come from Disney, but that would still fit the "Princess" theme.... and be not so expensive. I will be haivng close to 200+ people at my wedding.... so I'm trying to keep favor prices down... (Most of the disney things I fould are 5$ each, 5 dollars multiplied by 200 people is TOOO MUCH!).... any suggestions?

I have been to weddings before where they made cookies to go with their theme and put the cookies inside the bag. Another idea would be to donate a amount of money to a childrens orgaization in your wedding name

"paid for food, favors, and travel because she insisted I have it in a city I live 3 hours away from" What is it about showers that causes people to forget the word NO?!? Honest to God, I'll never understand this! I've hosted several bridal showers, and if the bride was ever rude enough to tell me - the hostess - where the event would be held, I'd decline it so fast her head would spin. As for the other 2 showers, you should not have been invited to these, and just keeping it real, this is the fault of your best friend. When multiple showers are held, SHE is the one responsible for providing the guest list, and she is the one who needs to make sure people aren't invited to more than one. That's because gifts are mandatory at a shower. In fact, it's considered rude to show up at one without a gift. So there's your answer. If you attend these showers, you do bring a gift. The obvious solution to that is decline both showers. Like they say, an invite is not a summons, and being MOH has nothing to do with this. As MOH, all you're technically agreeing to is buying your dress and showing up for the wedding. Anything after that is what you choose to do. PS - Also, on hair/makeup/nails, if the bride is requiring this, it's her job to pay for it. Again, dress and maybe shoes is all you're obligated for.

How about giving crystalized sugar sticks as favors. They look like magic wands and you can have a personalized ribbon made up to say something like "Thank you for sharing in the magic tonight" .They are about 50cents a piece. Or better yet, you could have a candy bar setup with different candy selections. Order some favor bags for the candy that have a princess theme on them. You may be able to get these from Oriental Trading Co. Good Luck!

I love the idea of the glass slipper with mints. Also I’m not sure if you have a store in your area called A.C. Moore Crafts. They have a lot more then Michael's to me and they really have good things for weddings I got hooked on the store from my coordinator and have been going ever since. I must worn you once you go you won’t stop if you find good deals. Check out the site http://www.acmoore.com/projects/wedding.asp

Plus check out a place called the Magic Wand Weddings, they have good sales. I’m having an Asian theme
wedding and searched high and low for take out boxes for 250 guests, everywhere I went was so costly that I went on line and lucked up on them. I got 300 box pre assembled for $150.00. http://www.magicwandweddings.com/.

Hope this helps.

For my wedding I am making a heart sugar cookie (with frosting that matches our wedding colors). Then we put them in a white decorative bag and tied ribbon and a little message around them. It was cute AND edible. For you, you could try to find a Disney Cookie cutter and do it that way.

o to a store like Michael's, they have clear plastic princess slipper that can be used to hold mints, Hershey kisses or things of that nature, that you can use as a wedding favor. If you tell me some of the decorations that you are using I can probably help you with more ides.

The fairy tales are not licensed by Disney even though he did remakes of them, such as Snow White, Cinderella. The Little Mermaid is Disney original, etc. See what I mean?

http://www.bridalpeople.com/cinderella-fairytale-wedding/page002.asp This website has a few pages devoted to fairytale wedding decor and favors. They have lots of fairytale picture frames and candles for under $2.00 and a Cinderella slipper bottle opener for $2.10.
