I loved the way a friend of mine proposed.
They went skydiving and he jumped first and the pilot had her wait a while. When she jumped, there was a huge banner on the ground asking her to marry him and he was on the ground on one knee with the ring.

I proposed to her in a medieval town (Bruges, Belgium) surrounded by a moat. It had castles, cathedrals and windmills.
I did it in a gazebo at a park with a pond. It was filled with white swans. It was beautiful.
A song is very personal, it should be a love song that you both enjoy while being together. Please don't make it a country love song (unless your crazy about country of course). It's just that it's always picked at every wedding for the bride and grooms dance. How cliche...
