I am getting married in Jamaica, and interested in some ideas for wedding favours. As our guest will be spending over £1000 to come to our wedding we want to give them wedding favours that they can keep and use!

Besides the wedding reception will be having a BBQ on the beach with a steel band to thank them all for coming, which is costing an extra £800, so I wasn't looking to spend a great deal of money on the favours.

Any ideas that tie in with an exotic beach wedding would be great or something unique or unusual would be helpful.
We would also need favours for children, maybe something to keep them occupied and that they can play with?!

Any comments on wedding favours that you found the best and worst from weddings you have attend would also be very useful.

Thanks!x

I have looked since I was younger for the "perfect ring" i would hopefully some day get from the guy who asks me to marry him. Well now im in a very serious relationship and have yet to find that "perfect ring". I want a custom one that noone else has. I want mine and his gemstones on it with little to no diamonds on it with a custom ring shape. Anyone know any good websites to go to to customize a ring? My birthstone is aquamarine his is opal. Thanks

Is it unfair to offer to pay for hers and not the other 2? The other 2 can afford it, she really can't. She said to pick someone else...4 months prior to the wedding when everyone already knows who I've chosen. We've been friends since middle school and I really want her in my wedding. Her pride told me not to buy it for her and I don't want to be unfair to the other 2, but I can barely afford what I need for me. Do I let her backout, which would mean my fiance has to drop one of his friends (the 2 groomsmen are brothers)? I can't really ask anyone else at this point. Suggestions?

Alot of people say they are and others say that a big traditional wedding with all the trimmings is cheaper.

I love Butterfly Kisses, but I have heard it to many times at weddings and I wanted something else. I was thinkin "I loved her first" - By Heartland, but for some reason I just don't think it fits *just* right. Any thoughts would be wonderful! Serious responses only please!! Thanks!!

Some of them i think were MORE than b/f and g/f. Also they all know i have 11 diff. b/f. Some of them have other girlfriends. They dont seem to care so i still go out with the. 5 of them have proposed. I dont know which one to choose. I personally think its an easier way to fnd a husband. So, PLEASE HELP ME CHOOSE ONE!!!!

How far in advance do I need to do this? Our wedding is October 27 of this year and people have already asked me where we have blocked rooms. I thought that it was too early for that. And how does that work? Do I need to guarantee a certain number of rooms for the hotel to offer a discount or do I put money down?

The woman i asked to be my maid of honor and i used to be close friends, and it was impulsive that i asked her, because we always talked about when we got married. She got married and i wasn't even invited, and since i asked her to be my maid on honor, she hasn't called or tried to contact me at all. How do i tell her that i don't want her to stand with me anymore?

my parents divorced in1993 and have never been civil to one another since. my mum has alot of hatred towards my dad as he was unfaithful to her on many occasions and she also blames him for the death of my brother in 1994. my brother was killed in a car crash and although my dad wasn't driving, his alcoholic girlfriend was. After this event, my dad was never really around as a father figure and we drifted apart. my dad & i have become alot closer over the past year or so. i love my dad to pieces despite everything and he is now constantly trying to make it up to me after all the wrong he has done & the time we spent apart. i know he regrets everything. my mum blames him for the loss of her son and cannot forgive him.to cut a long story short my mum wants to give me away and wouldn't forgive me if i didn't let her but at the same time i really want my dad to give me away, what to do? what do you think about both of them giving me away? Although my mum would strongly oppose this.....help
