Make it ckear to your guest that you are ready for them to leave. If it isn't someone you feel comfortable talking to.
If it is someone you would like to keep as a friend, tell them you think it would go better if you didn't spend so much time together or something like that!
good luck!

Depends on who the guest is; if it's a good friend, I would just tell them to get the heck out (in a nice way, of course); if it's not someone I know very well, I would say something like "Well, it's been nice having you over, it's getting kind of late, and I need to work tomorrow".

indirectly find out if there is any reason in particular they are staying, then if there is try to help them through it. If they don't have a reason tell them that your life is really busy and you need some space to get organized and you would love for them to drop by for the holidays or something, some comment indicating that you expect them to leave soon. If that doesn't help, while their gone pack their bags and leave them outside the door then leave for the night or stay in and make it look like your not home. And lock windows to incase they try to get back in

There is an African saying that is very wise....a guest is a guest for 3 days..then give him a shovel. Give your guest housework to do and start charging them for rent, electricity etc and you will find they move on.

You tell them how you feel. That they have overstayed their welcome and and you are sorry their mama never taught 'em that, but it's time for them to leave your house! And one day they will be grateful YOU taught them manners!
