My best friend just got married last weekend and her final fitting was 1 week before the wedding. They also pressed the gown for her. She picked it up the day before the wedding and everything went off without a hitch!
Best wishes!!!

Usually about a week or two before the wedding

I really don't know, personally I'd make it as close to the wedding day as possible to allow for wonky things like bloating and crap like that...I'd honestly call David's and ask them what they suggest.

They are usually really busy so schedule for at least 3 weeks so if there is still something you have time.

Why the hell are you asking the people here? Ask your seamstress. Hell, it could be the day before the wedding if your seamstress says she can do it (i wouldn't trust that though)
