I like the swan better then doves- they are more elegant.
And check on ebay and thrift stores before buying a "cake topper" I bought a bone china made in England, 2 white swans that are connected for $2.00 at the thrift store. They want about $200 for the same swan in the wedding store. I just stuck it in the top rack of the dishwasher and it looks new.

I dont know, I think if you want to make it a theme style wedding you should stick to one. Even if they are both cute. I had the same problem with doves and butterflies. I think it might be a little too much going on if you have both. Maybe choose like swans on cake and doves on bubbles but not together.

I think using animals as a cake topper and for holding candies and strangling a dove or a swan is Cruelty to animals... Just kidding, i know your not talking about real ones... I think you should stick to one or the other.

i think it would be great because when u look at doves and swans u think of peace and serenity. if ur talking real ones~it would be great if u had like a small fountain to place the swans in {about 2}. ur idea sounds like it would be nice.

Not my particular thing, but it's your wedding. You want doves and swans, then by all means you should have doves and swans! Good luck and congratulations.

Your guests are not going to see doves and swans. They're going to see birds. So mixing them together will be fine.

Uh, no. Doves and swans do not mix. Pick a bird, any bird.

you do no longer because of the fact those doves are actually not homing pigeons. they're extra often than not no longer even from those components and as quickly as they get released they become disoriented and perplexed and at last die.
