Along the lines of...
"My Best Friend" - Alan Jackson
"She's Everything" - Brad Paisley
"It Just Comes Natural" - George Strait

And there can be some honkytonk songs too. I'm a country girl and I want my wedding reception to be rowdy :P

A recommendation for a first dance song would also be good. I'm not looking for anything too mushy.

Thank you!

"I Cross My Heart" George Strait

"All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight"

I'm from South Louisiana and I have never been to a wedding where "You Never Even Call Me By My Name" was not the greatest hit of the night. Everybody sings along and it is soooo fun. Like me and my friends consider this the #1 party song.

Line dances are great too "The Footloose", "The Freeze", "Cha Cha Slide", the newest craze "The Cupid Shuffle".

"Bless The Broken Road" Rascall Flatts
"Making Memories of Us" Keith Urban
"Like Red On A Rose" Alan Jackson
"Dancing, Shagging On The Boulevard" Alabama
"If Heaven" Andy Griggs
"I Swear" John Michael Montgomery

I am a country girl too, I could go on and on all day. But Good Luck!

My wife and I danced to Allison Krauss' remake of Keith Whitley's "When You Say Nothing At All."

I had asked the DJ to play Randy Travis, "Forever and Ever, Amen." But, he did it while I was in the restroom.

Randy Travis has a few love songs that are upbeat and not too mushy.

Congrats on getting married. May God bless you and your spouse. May your union be a blessing to yourselves, your families and to the world. May the Lord smile upon you and make you fruitful.

my hubby and i used "watch the wind blow by" by Tim McGraw (and as sad as it sounds, I probably just wrote the wrong title!!) and my dad and i danced to "daddy's hands". I am not sure who that one is by. Allison Krauss is always good for some slow ones, she has that whole banjo sound going.
Someone else answered that daddy's hands is by the judds, there is a better version by a girl with the last name of dunn, it was fromthe early 90's. good luck on the marriage!

I always suggest Little Big Town's "Bring It On Home" for the couple's first dance. I think it's a perfect song for the moment. Congrats!

Anything by Rascal Flatts, Shania Twain. I would recommend Dolly Parton's "I will always love you" for the father/daughter dance. She was the original creator and writer of that song.
