I am 30 years old and my girlfriend is 29 years old. She loves me so much. I still have feelings for her but I know it isn't love nor lust. I only like her. We been together for at least 6. We started making love since like 2 years ago and I never left her. I don't plan to leave her ever. I knew if I left her, I wouldn't have anyone else to make love with, and she would be sad and will be filing for child support if she had a baby. Thank god she didn't have a baby. I hope I don't fall in love with her. I told her "I love you" lots of times and I know I didn't mean it. What do you think I should do???

My future mother in law is manipulative and trying to make demands on MY wedding. It is all about the bride and I AM THE BRIDE Not her. Yet she is trying to control WHO i invite (even though she is not paying for the wedding, my parents are) and she is going to give me and my fiance a "gift" of paying 3,000 dollars for a list of people she wants to come to the wedding. That is not a gift! And my parents dont want any of her money, especially if it is just a little drop in the bucket like 3,000. That wouldnt even cover a third of the wedding cost.
What do I do? I dont want to fight with her. This horrible woman has even threatened NOT coming to the wedding to my mom on the phone if i dont invite exactly who SHE wants to the wedding! And the only person that would hurt is my fiance (her son) not me or my family. At this point I would be happy if she didn't show up cause then my fiance could see what a bad mother he has. Any suggestions for dealing with this mother in law?

I heard of one where the guy took the role of the wife and the woman took the role of the traditional husband. He took her last name, he promised to love, honor and obey her. I mean was this for real?

In my culture, the guy is supposed to take care of everything...from the ring, the engagement party, the wedding, the honeymoon, the dress, etc... Since we are not sharing the same culture, is it ok for the girl to offer to share the cost to buy the ring, the wedding and everything else together ... rather than having the guy to pay for the ring & the honeymoon and the girl/family is to take care of the wedding as the way it is normally done here or have the guy to pay for everything???

My boyfriend 32 and I 29 have been together for 8 months. We are very much in love.He really shows me his love and I have no complains. He has already told me a lot of times without proposing that we will get married and made me believe that he meant soon e.g (a year). But a week ago he told me that he has set a time limit to himself not to do anything(get married, live together e.t.c)for the next 1.5 year(which means that we may get married in 2.5 years) because he wants to pay off his loan car.Should I trust that he will keep his word?He has promised other not really important things to me(like bying something or going to a nice restaurant) and sometimes didn't keep his promises or postponed things. That's what worries me and to tell you the truth I do not want to waste my time with someone who isn't worth it.I did that with my ex for 6 years and have been really hurt. How can I tell if he means what he says?Thank you in advance for your replies.Good luck to you all.

My Maid of Honor and Bridesmaids are planning my Bridal Shower and have been looking around at different restaurants, but they all seem to be SO expensive! I really not comfortable with the girls spending that much money.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for an alternative? I was kind of thinking about reserving an area at a park, and doing catered sandwiches, along with a few salads. What do you think?

Why do guys leave their girlfriend after they have sex? shouldn't that guy shouldn't want to leave his girlfriend since he can have sex with her at least more than 1 time and plus the girlfriend will be depressed and heartbroken if he did leave her. I am 30 years old and my girlfriend is 29 years old. She loves me so much. I still have feelings for her but I know it isn't love nor lust. I only like her. We been together for at least 6. We started making love since like 2 years ago, and I never left her. I knew if I left her right after, I wouldn't have someone to make love with and she would be sad and will be suing me if she had a baby. Thank god she didn't have a baby. I hope I don't fall in love with her. I told her "I love you" lots of times and didn't mean it and I know I didn't mean it.

Ok one of my bridesmaids is epileptic and can not be around flasing lights at all....we have everything set up with the photographer so her pics are all taken during the day without flash...My DJ has agreed to no strobe lights and will keep the light show to a minimum...my question is...I am getting a H2 limo for the bridal party to ride to the ceremony and the reception...it does have neon lights on the inside...Is it wrong for me not to want the lights off??? As far as I know they do not flash, but I am already cutting out so much for her....is it selfish of me not to want the lights in the limo off???

I am meeting with a florist next week to discuss floral decorations for my wedding. Does anyone know of a website I could visit where they have detailed pictures of wedding floral arrangments?

*The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception in a large ballroom.

ok, i am having my wedding in the next few months, most likely in the summer or fall time, and i am on a limited budget so i was wondering if it's ok to not provide a meal, or would that offend people?
i already have someone who has offered to pay for part of the food as their wedding gift to us, but i have been thinking and i want a simple wedding and he's thinking more fancy, my fiancee and i also have different ideas of what is an affordable wedding for us.
i don't want to bother anyone and cause hurt feelings, or cause them to not give us wedding gifts, lol, but I'm not sure it's necessary to have a big meal.
your answers are greatly appreciated, thank you.

I am getting my addresses together so I can prepare the wedding invitations, and realized that with U.S. stamps going up to $0.41 or so soon, sending out paper invites might be a bit pricier than I had expected. Recently, my co-matron of honor and her husband (the best man) suggested we look into Evite.com for wedding invitations. I went in and set it up, but now I am wondering what people think. Tacky? Would it be offensive to older guests? (I know my fiance's grandmother wants a paper invitation.) Should we (1) send paper invitations to out-of-town guests and e-vites to local; (2) send paper invitations to out-of-town guests and discreetly hand-deliver invitations to local; or (3) just mail to everyone? No criticisms, please, just real suggestions. Thanks for your input.

I live next door to the church i am marrying in but we are seperated by a duel carriageway, that i will have to cross with my bridal party, how can i make this look more elegant and less embarrassing. (its pointless hiring a car to go 50 yards...and the reception in at our home as were having a garden party...so no one needs to travel in a car from the church either)
Help I dont want this to turn into a comedy!!!
