yes, my first fiance was left at the alter. literally...does anyone know why? "yes, me...i love you..but no..everyone enjoy the party"

my second fiance i had the decency to break it off with 4 weeks before the (very expensive, elaborate wedding)

my third fiance and i have been happily, wonderfully, romantically married for 16 years!

*the first time...i was a child...who had just lost her mother..and a very controlling boyfriend tried to convince me i couldn't survive unless i married him. he is on his fourth wife now..and has been in jail several times for abuse*

*the second time...i loved him but had met bachelor number three and couldn't get him out of my mind.....when i finally did get married..there was NO doubt in my mind what-so-ever..that is why i get so crazy with questions from "young 'uns" about ...we are fighting..should we get married? or...i'm 15 and engaged..etc.

good luck with whatever your story is. i hope you make the right decision..embarrassment, expense, whatever....be darned.

YES....it was the most gut wrenching self centered unbelievable thing I have ever seen.... there are literally months of planning....and I just can't believe that say the day before or the night of the rehearsal she didn't know...but she waited and had this dramatic moment.....which caused a lot of pain, anxiety and cost a ridiculous amount of $$.....most of the food went to the local pantry.... she is an aerse.

Not literally at the altar no, but my friend was dumped a week before her wedding, simply because the guy changed his mind and felt he was not ready. At the time she was gutted, but a few months down the line she met the guy she eventually did marry, and she can't believe she ever though she was in love with the first guy anyway, he did her a favour.
