I am marrying my man later in the year and don't want a big wedding. Don't have many friends and don't want to invite 100 people and all the relatives and spend £10,000 on a day that I don't want in the first place. I know it sounds odd but don't really like most of my family and don't want to have to get 100 people that I am not that keen on dinner and drinks just because that is what is expected. Was considering just going to a registry office with immediate family and friends (having a smart lunch or dinner afterwards) and then getting a blessing on a beach in the carribean on our own - has anyone else done it this way?

We are having just us, the 2 children and 2 witnesses who are friends at our wedding (register office). There has been a lot of surprise in our family about this - just wondering how many people have done it this way?

She for some reason said "It's not an affair"
married for 10 years then two weeks before she left me she purchased about 20 pairs of "G" string panties, which of course she told me that they where for me. I never saw them on her! Told me that she kissed him. Stayed at his house but only slept in the "guest bedroom"-whatever! Coworker told me that he crossed the line with a married women . Friend of mine saw her car at his house about 4 times while married. Rented a room in the nearby city to visit a counselor ,she told me that he came to the room and they just "talked". She blew the meeting with the counselor the next day and bought him breakfast . Its like she has zero freakin respect for me. What does a guy gotta do?????

I was at a bridal shower and the hostess passed around a gift and read a story about Mr. Right. When she said right we passed it to the right and when she said left we passed to the left. Any help would be great! Thanks!

I'm 26 and haven't seen him in 4 years. We were pretty good friends in high school and had some classes together, but he started dating this girl I confided in him I liked right after I told him, and he rubbed that in my face a lot so towards the end of high school we weren't quite as good friends.

I'm not very social at all and am still living at home and getting licenses to help with my family business. I don't go out with anyone except my family members and a few close friends.

I've never been to an engagement party and don't know if I'm going to know anyone there, what to wear, or what you're supposed to do.. I also don't drink alcohol, which it says will be served there.

What exactly would I do if I went there? I went to a cocktail reception a few years ago and I feel very uncomfortable standing around having small talk with strangers. Would it be considered rude to send him a gift and a card instead? I'm afraid of sitting at a table looking down the whole time.

Yo. What day of the week does a wedding usually take place on and during what times?
I'm trying to get out of going to an event, so I want to say I have to go to a wedding as an excuse.

How can I tell her that I can't attend? I mean she knew about my plans as I have always taken a nap every afternoon on the weekends the last five years so its not like she didn't know I wouldn't be able to make it. Do you think she did it on purpose just so I wouldn't come?

I am 54 years old and my wife is 51 years old. She loves me so much. I only like her, not love her. We been together for at least 30+ years. I never had children with her but I did made love to her since I was 28 years old. She fell shortly to a terminal accident. I told her "I love you" so many times I cannot even count. I never fell in love with her. I didn't leave her because I wouldn't have someone to have sex with and she'll be heartbroken if I did left and i would have been paying for child support if she did got pregnant... and plus, I never fell in love with her so i didn't want to be very sad if she had died. If I did fell deep in love with her, I know I will be very sad right now, but good thing I didn't fell in love with her. I can imagine myself leaving her and not being sad. I don't feel bad at all for her death. I had to pretend to be crying on her funeral to let her family think that I am sad but really, I am not sad. I don't plan to ever fall in love but will date.

Where can I buy plastic dowels and caps to make my own wedding invitations...Please help!!?
I have searched high and low for weeks...Dowels are hiding from me...lol. I have ordered a few scroll wedding invitation samples from various places and "I KNOW" I can do this for well under half the cost. Please help..

So picutres are something that is VERY important to me. I have been searching high and low for a good photographer for our wedding this fall. I finally came across someone who really "Wows" me!

The catch is, the cost is $2,000 just for the photographers time....No pictures included. They will give you the digital proofs, but you have to pay for all of the printing and books.

Is this a rip off? In your opinion, do you think it is worth it?
