Depending on their ages: a watch, a family photo album, a family tree, or some family heirloom from previous generations. Just remember that what you give them during the ceremony is a symbol. Remember to give them love and acceptance from then on.

If it is during the ceremony there are lots of ideas: a lapel pin, a tie tack, an olympic type medal (in wedding colors with an engraved small pendant), a prayer book, a bible, give all of them a candle. If you are talking about the gifts for attendants....then I might go with an engraved bank, an engraved watch, glasses (especially if the older attendants are getting flutes and such) they have all sorts you can have engraved or cheaper route is to paint them yourselves using a cermic paint kit you buy from walmart. There is always the trusted standby....get them a matted picture of the big day, sign on the matte and buy them an age-appropriate toy....they get something they like on the day of the wedding and something they will treasure later on....

I have seen the pendants for boys also, but I like the idea of a watch for them, engraved on the inside with a nice mention of the "joining of family" with your wedding date.

If you are using the Family medallion then it is appropriate for boys as well.
If you aren't, then something similar. Like a plain disc with the wedding date engraved. Like this only not so expensive. Places like Walmart/MeijersKohl's should have them

An ID bracelet with their name & wedding date

if you want to keep with the jewellry theme you could give them watches. But you could also just get them something engraved, not sure what depending on their interests like a card holder for baseball hands.
Or depending on if your religious you could get them crosses, saint christopher's medals, star of david etc.
Maybe they even have an idea of what they would like to get?

There are necklaces you can give to the boys too. How old are they that is the first thing. I know that my boys will be giving me away at our wedding and we are giving them pocket watches for ours.
