hi i was wondering what perfume i should wear on my wedding day and one where the scent will last, i love wearing perfume and i do have quite a few, i love alien, Dkny, escape (calvin Klien) Eternity, Kenzo Flowers, Havent brought a new one for ages but up for great ideas on what to buy please help thank you ames

Some of my favorite perfumes are Princess by Vera Wang, Echo by Davidoff, and Euphoria by Calvin Kline.
Pick a scent that is not overwhelming or too strong. People should never be able to smell you before they see you. Also, many people are allergic to perfume so keep it subtle. Someone should have to get close to smell it. If possible 'layer' the scent. Use a scented body wash, then body lotion and finish with a body spray (all in the same scent of course).
Some tips:
Apply the perfume to your pulse points: behind the ears, along the neck (where you'd take your pulse), on your inner elbow, on the inner wrist, and behind your knee.
Always put your perfume on BEFORE you get dressed. The oils in perfume can stain and discolor your dress.
If you get too much perfume on, put some rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball or pad and wipe over the area to remove the excess. Water will not take excess perfume off since most are oil based.

Thanks for asking this question. I have been thinking alot about buying a new perfume for my wedding but I hate going to the stores and smelling them all because it really starts to burn and they all smell alike. But I wrote down what everybody has been saying and I am going to go check it out. I never even thought about asking on here. Good Job! But I just wanted to tell you that when you put on perfume spray it and leave it do not rub it on your body. I don't remember exactly but I think I read it in a bridal magazine but like alot of people rub their wrists together well this actually like crushes the perfume and it doesn't smell anymore or it like changes the smell. Something like that. All I know is it said don't do it. lol! I don't know exactly what kind of smell you are looking for but I do agree with alot of the others with Beautiful by Estee Lauder. I don't know how old you are either but I am really young and I love that parfume at Hollister called Malaia. I haven't decided if I want to wear this on my wedding day or not, it depends on if I find something else. But even for an everyday perfume the Hollister one smells really good. My suggestion is to pick his favorite perfume and wear that to the wedding. Put some behind your ears and on your neck as well as between your breasts. Do not put to much on because you have to respect the guests at your wedding, some may be allergic to the perfume. Take a small bottle of the perfume with you and add some more once you have left the wedding reception. Have fun and good luck with the marriage.

Check out Calyx by Prescriptives. It's a beautiful fragrance and lasts forever and is not overwhelming. I have gotten so many compliments on it. Even standing in line at the grocery store I had a gentleman tell me he loved the scent I was wearing and asked what it was so he could get it for his wife !!!

I like this one I think its called candies or something like that. Just smells so good and lasts for awhile. My last used to wear one but I am unsure of what it was she always had a bottle of body spray to that would drive me mad. She always smelt like a big piece of candy women can be evil like that sometimes. I would just get something you like and keep some spray close by during and after to hit yourself back up if the scent starts to fade over the day.
