She sent him a pm and he answered her and they chatted back and forth for a few days(till i caught him)u could tell she was "feeling him out" to see if there was an interest.and my fiance who had no interest in his page till she contacted him fixed it all up with songs, photos(none of me)sayings ect.plus he was quick to answer her when ever she pm him.now he never said anything bad to her but it only went on for about 2 days before i caught him.now he never told me about this, i found out when i logged on to his account to get someones email(he did not know i was doing it)when i asked him about it he blew it off as no big deal but as soon as i left the room he deleted his whole account, weird i thought.oh let me add he left his 1st wife for this chick.shes like a bad penny allways turning up.

I think that he would be hurt if I didn't ask him to walk me down the isle. My goal is not to hurt his feelings. I just don't think he should because he is or never really was involved in my life. Yeah, maybe I am still holding a grudge or two ot three. But should he give me away to my husband to be if he gave me away when he decided not to be a part of my life?

My best girlfriend has a wedding to attend this summer. She is single I am not. She has not seen the bride since high school but has kept in contact through emails and phone calls. She received her invitation and it states that she and a guest are invited. She doesn't want to go alone since she doesn't know anyone that well anymore, but she doesn't have a BF. She wanted me to go with her, but we weren't sure if it was appropriate to bring a "girl" friend to the wedding a her "date"?
Any input? Is it wrong for me to attend with her since I don't know them?

I just found out that for my wedding reception in four weeks the caterer will only set up the buffet and then will be leaving. Nobody will be around to watch the food or pick up plates. Evidently they are coming to the hotel the next morning to pick things up. It's bad enough that we will be using paper plates for the food! I know it's my fault because I didn't ask the specific questions, but you would think for $15/plate, real plates and silverware and staff would be present (the wedding is being held in a smaller town/rural area, so $15/plate is quite expensive). Am I being irrational? It's too late to switch caterers. Any ideas on how to make this flow smoothly? I am having an open bar all night and hoping my guests will 'forget' about the paper plates and having to clean up after themselves! I did leave a message with the caterer and hoping somehow I can talk them into having some staff present for the meal, but I would like to have a backup plan in place. Thanks!!

I'm planning my wedding and trying to decide on a date. I've been told you should allow 12 months to plan the wedding. Does anyone have any tips for deciding the date or just planning the wedding in general. We've already decided on where the wedding will be. Also does the wedding party need to be even (i.e, same number of grooms men and bridesmaids)?

My wedding gown I ordered online is BEAUTIFUL, pure silk, custom/handmade and fits like a glove, but I ordered it in white, and it came as an Ivory/Antique white and I am a little dissapointed. I contacted dying companies, and they said that silk is naturally this color and cannot by dyed. I cannot return the dress or get a refund (believe me, I tried). This is my first marriage, I have no children, and I was looking forward to the traditional white gown, but everyone is telling me that the Ivory is beautiful and old fashion, and that I should just stick with it. Is everyone just trying to make me feel better by telling me to keep the gown? Are there going to be whispers when I walk down the aisle when everyone sees me in ivory instead of white? Is the difference between ivory and white that different? Is the tradition THAT important, or should I just suck it up and stick with this gown? I REALLY love this gown, I am just concerned about it not being pure white = (

I posted this question earlier today. I won't except anything less than 2 carats. I forgot to mention I am not have a wedding I'm going to the justice of the peace. So we won't be wasting money on that.

I'm talking about a very small informal ceramony with no bridesmaids or groomsmen, and an outdoor bbq to take place of a formal reception. Is this considered tacky or rude when I easily have the means to pay for a much more expensive wedding? I've had friends who have spent a good chunk of $$$ on a wedding, and our financial situation seems better than 75% of them.

It seems silly to me to be spending thousands of dollars for one day. I would much rather spend the money on a nice honeymoon and use the rest as a downpayment for a house and buying a nice car. By foregoing the costs of a wedding, we can get so much further in life.

Do I need to return the favor by making it at the very least amoderately priced wedding? Are there certain expectations considering we're well off for our age?

My fiance and I are debating a tradtional ceremony where everyone we know is invited or just running off the Vegas. If we do elope we would still like to have a party to celebrate our union when we get home. Can we do that? Or how can we de that properly?

We don't want our guests to feel obligated to bring wedding gifts and we don't want people to feel slighted that they didn't witness the ceremony. We just want to have a party for all of our family and friends to get together.

Any comments, thoughts, suggestions or questions would be accepted and appreciated.

My uncles aren't liked by my family much. My dad likes them (his brothers), but my mom has forbidden them from contacting us or for my father to see them for now. (Legal fiasco, misunderstandings, jail time, fights over money, etc.)

I love my one uncle (but not the other), and I miss him.

So do I invite both uncles, just the uncle I like (even if it hurts the feelings of the other one when he finds out), or neither of the uncles, making my mom happy?

The wedding is in October and will just be close friends and family.

Okay, so my fiance have been together for over 5 years. We have a son (hes 8 months old, will be almost one at time of ceremony)...so the jig is up lol! Do you think it is wrong for me to wear all white?

I found a perfect dress in our price range, but it only comes in white. I was thinking of adding some embellishments, or maybe a sash in our wedding colors. Would that be better?
