I am 21 years old and my girlfriend is 14 years old. We met at college. She is an officially a college student, not high school. We've been dating each other for 6 months already. I am really much in love with her. She's in love with me too. She's going to be financially independent by 19-20. While with me, I have to wait until I am 24-25 to be financially independant. Do you think a 7 year gap is bad?

So I have asked one of my friends to be a bridesmaid. We have known eachother since we were 8. Our relationship over the last year or 2 has been kind of rocky but we are okay now. Or we were. Over the last few months she has became really good friends with another co worker. They are both single and like to party etc. Well over the memorial day weekend I invited her to go to the lake with my fiance and I and a group of friends. Well our co-worker decides to Go tubing in the river. Well it decided to rain, so After it stopped I decided the lake was too muddy and we will just hang out at the pool at my house. She doesnt answer her phone or return my call. We get to work this morning and I asked her what she did yesterday and all she said was she was sick and didn't do anything. Just stayed at home. Well our co-worker came in and said that she (my bridesmaid) had went tubing with her and they hung out all day and went shopping etc. I'm alittle upset that she would lie to me about it.

My fiance and I are getting our engagement pictures in two weeks, and the only problem is that he won't smile for pictures! I think he's the most handsome man alive, and when he looks at me he has such a beautiful smile, but when the camera turns on him he gets this funny look on his face! He says he can't help it, but I can't seem to get him to freeze the smile he gives me for the camera. It reminds me of that old Friend's episode of Chandler and Monica when they went to get their pictures takens, and he made that silly face as soon as the camera turned on him. Any ideas on how to make this pics turn out well?

I have been with my boyfriend for 7 years, he joined the navy 2 years after i met him, and i am now living with him and have been for 1 year. He still has not proposed, its wierd because he told me to pick out a ring last year so i did, that was one year ago but he still has not asked me. We always discuss our wedding how we want it etc...and he did ask me to marry him when we were 18 years old, but at the time there was no ring given and he was moving interstate to recruit school so i didnt take anything too seriously. He has mentioned he will ask again and there have been times where i have completely lost it (which i shouldnt have) and asked what the deal was.
Do you think he will ask again ? Or do u think that i pretty much already am engaged? I dont wear the ring we picked out yet because im waiting for him to ask!!

I got him a nice card/gift.He said he "tryed" to get me flowers but the florist would not deliver because we had a bad snow storm(true but nothing like waiting till the last min) and no gift or card. Then we went to diner(my doing) . when the bill came he made no effort to take it so i said do u want me to put it on our "family c.c"(we have a joint one for house bills that we both put the same money in) and he said sure.So basicly we went "dutch".I will say he did get me a clock about 4 weeks later after his mom asked me what he got me and i told her nothing.

I am getting married next summer and would like to have the wedding outside but performed by a Catholic Priest. Is there any way this can happen, or do I absolutely have to go to a church to have a catholic ceramony?

we want to get married for several reasons now, but our families think we need to wait a while, so we want to still have the "wedding" for them in a year or two, with out them knowing we are married if we decide to do it soon.

I am getting married May 24th next year. I have decided on Black and fuschia wedding colors. I want the bridemaids to have black dresses with a fuschia bow around the waist. I found a picture online and cant find it. I was wondering if anyone had a picture of these colors or other ideas to use these colors in my wedding. Any ideas are welcome because I am so lost. I love these colors and nothing can change them besides not having ideas. Thanks in advanced!!

My husband and I were planning a big wedding. My husband even received all of his sacraments through the R.C.I.A. program at our church. Unfortunately, I became extremely sick and was diagnosed with lupus. I had to quit my job and lost my health insurance. My husband tried to add me to his but needed a marriage license to do so. We eloped with out telling anyone. Eventually we shared the news and our families were both very happy for us and still wanted to plan a church wedding. We have been married for 3 years now and have a beautiful 15 month old son. We wanted to receive the sacrament of Holy Matrimony on our 4 year anniversary, however, we were told that we could not have a Nuptual Mass because we are already married. If the church does not recognize civil ceremonies then were are not technically married. Right? If this is the case we should be allowed to have our Nuputal Mass. What do you think???

I'm not going for absolute historical accuracy, but I wanted to get a semi-victorian style wedding dress made with some patterns I've bought off of a site.

Does anyone know of any reliable tailors that could work on such things?

I have decided on a beach wedding in the Hawaii for my upcoming wedding. However for all my life I have had a picture of what I want for my wedding. Even though the wedding is technically less formal, I want each person in the wedding party formally dressed. I plan to wear white stockings with three inch open toed sandals.

I know this may be uncomfortable but I want each of the bridesmaids to wear matching wine colored open toed heels with nude pantyhose.

Several of the girls have complained, but the dresses are knee length and I want the pictures and rest of the evening to be perfect. Am I asking too much?

I am making a 3 tier american wedding cake, the kind that is stacked one on top of the other, rather than having pillars to separate the cakes. I need a suitable box to transport it in, but can't find one anywhere. The box will need to be at least 14 inches square, and a minimum of 10 inches high. any suggestions greatly appreciated.
