Anything over 1 1/2 carats is a bit much. Two may be ok, but seriously after that, it gets really tacky.

Personally I think anything over 3 carats looks gaudy. The wedding band usually does not have single stones. It might have smaller stones around the band in which case .10 or .15 per stone is enuf. Congrats

When people gasp at the sight of it. A 1 carat may be too big for one person's hand and not another's....my friend's is 2.75 center, plus other stones, while her ring size is 3.5--it looks absurd.

I think once it's over 2 carats it looks awful!

i think more than 0.5 carats is big already...
i prefer small and simplicity in wedding bands...
