I have been experiencing chest pain/tightness, i had an anxiety attack that made me feel like i was having a heart attack, i attended casualty had an ECG and the DR said that everything was fine. The symptoms continued and i attended my GP who told me this was down to stress. The thing is that i dont consciously feel stressed out, there is no particular event that stresses me out so i dont understand how the DR can say this. But when it happens i show the classic signs, distrubed breathing/fear/anxiety i become withdrawn etc. It just seems to come from nowhere, i get it at work sometimes however i also get it at night sometimes, totally random. Does anyone else experience this? is it stress? what is it????

Im 15 years old and want to go into the army as a health care specialist. I am already AED, CRP, EMT, EMTC certified and liscensed. But I was wondering if I had to go to a military school like west point or something to get into the marines. I hope I dont because I could never get into a good military school. Do grades make a huge difference on getting into the army? Could I go to just any 4 year college and still get in?

dash mounted video camera's that capture the road in front of you..local law enforcement would pay YOU a bounty for every red light runner you capture on tape!! a car changes lanes in a intersection in front of you......CHA-CHING!!! more cash...that guy making a u-turn may only be a annoyance to some but to you, it could be money in the bank! i could get very wealthy doing this! heck, i live in st. louis, mo...i would be a millionaire within 6 months! and the crap about a better world would come from people being afraid to do anything stupid even though they see no cops around..

I live in Australia and for some reason it receives a fair amount of news coverage. I'm guessing it is the same in the States.

First off, I do believe in evolution, and I'm not Christian. My intention here is to raise the bar with these arguments. I've had a lot of stupid arguments over the years with Creationists that had no real scientific basis. However, a Christian friend of mine who was a former astronomy student actually had a few good ones.

1. Interdependent Systems. The human eye and the bombardier beetle are the classic examples. Still not a rock solid argument, but tons better then, "Cause God did it."

2. (The really good one) Stellar Life Cycles. According to the dude, our sun was in a different state when evolution is said to have started. It was giving off much less energy, and, according to him, could not have supported life on Earth. I suspect that it probably just supported much less life on Earth, and when it got to it's current state, there was probably a corresponding 'boom' in life on earth. But, I really can't back that up.
