I don't know why everyone is being so polite with this question. Of course it won't work out! She's a child! If you are sleeping with her, you should be in jail!
It doesn't matter if she's "technically" a college student - she is still a minor and a child. Her parents are crazy if they are allowing this.

if she were already "legal" then i would say no the age gap isnt bad but the fact that she is still a minor (and will be for 4 years) makes it tricky because just the age gap alone is enough to get u in serious legal trouble. u said she is in college with u and shes 14 so she must be extreamly smart to be in college so young so while she may be mentally more mature than most children her age (and yes she is a child in the eyes of the law) she is still biologically a 14 year old. once she turns 18 there should be no problem though because my best friends mom is 17 years younger then her stepfather and they are sooo happy and in love. but to be on the safe side id wait until she it 18 to pursue anything other than friendship with her because if one person has a problem with it they can report u and u dont want that. but no i dont think 7 years is a big difference...just wait until she is legal!!! good luck

At 14, yes. No matter how you look at it, she's still 14. She has the emotions of a 14 year old. She has the book smarts of a college student, but in all other areas she's 14 years old. Wait until she's 18 to start dating, and wait until she's 25 to get married should it go that far. No sex, because she's a minor, and you'll go to prison should her parents find out. Actually, no sex until you are married. All birth control, except abstinence, has a failure rate, and why would you want to ruin everything now by risking getting pregnant. You may find yourself marrying someone else, and you'll be grateful you saved yourself for that person. For now, let her grow up and be a kid. You got that chance, and she deserves it, too. You are only a kid once, let her have that chance.

Once you get older, a 7 year gap is nothing. But right now she's only 14. Even if she is in college, that doesn't mean that she's emotionally ready for an adult relationship. I can't believe that her parents are even letting her date anyone, let alone an adult. It's really wrong. Legally and morally.
If you really love her, you should break it off and wait until she is 20.

A 7 year age gap in an older couple would not be as difficult as 14-21. If it were my 14 year old daughter I would not allow her to date a 21 year old male. At 14, even a very mature young woman, has a lot to learn about life and hasn't yet had the experiences that are available to people who have moved thru the ages between 14 and 21. I believe that experiencing each phase of life (and each year) are equally important to us in forming us as people and adults. Your girlfriend still has a lot to learn in life (maybe very experienced in academics but not in life). Good luck to you and God Bless.

A 14-year-old college student....sure. Regardless of what level of education she is at...she just became a teenager!!! She is a kid!! She has a lot of growing up to do before she starts dating someone 7 years older than her.
I am also wondering what you see in a 14-year-old girl. You are a legal adult. That is disgusting. Try dating people your own age.

I think that the fact that you're dating a child is bad. She must be very intelligent to be in college already, but that doesn't mean she's emotionally ready to be married. She can't even drive yet. Wait until you graduate to make any huge plans. 21 is still kind of young for anything permanent.

once you get older, no. my grandparents had a 10 year gap. She sounds smart if she's in college at 14 so she must know what she is doing. Don't go rushing into things though even if she does love you. Take your time and have fun.

it doesnt matter if she is an official college student, she is still 14, a child...underage. you can go to jail if you sleep with her. I would wait until she is 18 and then if you think you still love her, then go for it. But right now she is too young.

Your numbers don't ad up.... she would be independent in 20 years or by the time she is 20 (which doesn't make any sense because she should be 35)? That would mean by 55 she would be independent??
Either which way.... don't date anyone old enough to have been able to given birth to you.... it's creepy.
