If you think he's proposing, keep in mind he may have a day/night planned that he can pop the big question. The beach is good (depending on where you live and the weather) or possibly revisiting the place where you had your first date.
As far as what to wear, you'll probably want to take pictures of your big night so wear something you look fabulous in! BUT if he doesn't know that you know he's going to ask, be careful how amazing you look (meaning don't spend 3 hours getting ready or blow the bank on a brand new dress, hair cut, shoes, and make up) or it'll give it away that you know! If he's aiming to "surprise" you, let him have the surprise, he'll be really bummed if he finds out you know.
Keep in mind, he may not ask, so TRY not to get your hopes up. I knew one guy who found out his fiance knew he was going to ask her on their anniversary so he didn't ask that night. She was really mad! (he finally did 2 wks later). But enjoy his visit even if he doesn't ask you.
The biggest thing (in my opinion): get a manicure, you're going to be showing that hand off a lot in the next few months!

I hope you are right and he actually IS going to propose...or you could be in for a disappointing and awkward weekend.
Dont make the mistake of counting your chickens.....anyways if you know him well enough to think he is going to propose, you must have a dress that is his favourite or at least know the style he likes you to wear.....then wear that!!!

Wear nothing! Just kidding! Well, i guess londoners are a little fashion conscious, i think he'd appreciate it better if he discovers that you dressed for comfort rather than trends,
and that's what we call style, right?
Afterall he's not marrying a mannequin...
One more thing! Don't show too much skin, save it for the honeymoon!
What to do? Just be yourself, men love real people!

Breathe, girl. Calm down. If you are this frantic about what to wear, how on earth will you plan a wedding?
Wear something that you like. Something that makes you feel good when you wear it. Something you get completmented for where wearing it.
Avoid something fussy or you will spend the whole time worrying about your outfit.
Focus on being with him rather than on how you look.
Good luck. It will go fine.

So he is coming from London to propose and you don't know what to wear? Do you know even know him?
Seems like it would be a no brainer!

wear something really classy and nice, don't look sloppy, if your going to a fancy restraunt maybe wear a nice dress. Go to the take a walk on the beach, than go to a nice resteraunt and whose proposing to who, best wishes to you and your hopefully future fiance.

What makes you think he is going to propose? I'm not sure I get the part where he is proposing.
