Many years ago I kept a journal. An in that journal I wrote a letter to god. In this letter I asked God to bring me someone special. Who was intelligent, diverse, cultured, and funny just to name a few? I wrote down so many qualities I really didn’t think there could be a person out there to fit it. I was wrong. God brought me you and you are everything and more that I wished and prayed for. You make me laugh, you warm my heart, and you make me feel loved and protected. You are without a doubt my night and shinning armor my hero. I pleg to spend all of my live right by your side! Through thick and thin, good times and bad. You are my love forever. I am the luckiest woman in the world to be marrying her soul mate. For that. I thank you. I love you.

I don't want to exchange written vow's i want to do that by the book, but am wanting to say something from the heart...how's this

That's really nice! But please don't be offended by some corrections, please. You want it to be the very best, right? Here's how I think it should go:

What do you think of this to say to my Husband at the altar?

OK. Thanks for making me feel bad. I'm getting married in 6 days and I don't know what I am going to say to my man at the altar except that I promise to be the woman he prayed for (someone to help him worship God). That was fantastic. Just great. Now you're gonna make me nervous!

It is very sweet and heartfelt. Where you say you are the luckiest woman in the world..., I think you should say my soul mate instead of her soul mate. That's just my opinion so do whichever you like best.

Jen that is fantastic. Any man would be grateful to have his wife say these wonderful thoughts to him on their special day. Best of luck and wishing you a happy and successful marriage the rest of your life.

That is beautiful! Maybe you can do it during the toasts? But during the ceremony would be nice as well.
