Getting married soon, and struggling with a song for the recessional. We have an instrumental piano for the processional.
I am thinking something along the lines of "Angel" by Sarah McLachlan, minus the dark theme of drug addiction or whatever it is about.
Any ideas? Umm and no I don't think we will go with "Another one bites the dust"

Hubby and I skipped out to "Here Comes Your Man" by The Pixies. We wanted to do something different.

im having "joe cocker - You are so beautiful"for the processional and "into the mystic - Van Morrison" for the recessional and van morrison is good he has alot of good songs to choose from. our first dance is "someone like you - Van Morrison" or there is "Have i told you lately - Van Morrison" or "Wonderful World Louie Armstrong" you can find a lot of websites with ideas just type in "wedding songs"
i hope this helps

Here are a few sites that may help, there are even clips so you can listen to the choices. I would go with something upbeat, Angel is kind of low key and depressing. More of a funeral song in my opinion. You just tied the knot! Find something that just shouts happiness and joy.

lol... I was honestly going to suggest "Another one bites the dust"... lol. Try something classical - how about "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" by Johann Sebastian Bach - it's a light, classical happy tune - that's what I used.... I kinda wished I would've used Another one Bites the Dust.....

A friend of mine had the 'Hallelujah Chorus' played :)

I'd like to walk back up the Aisle to 'It Had To Be You'.

I love Beethoven's "Ode to Joy"! A friend had it for his recessional and it was so beautiful.
