I've been looking for a while, and I need help finding a strapless, backless, wedding dress.

Now, I've looked through the similar questions, and I'm appalled by how rude some of the answers were. There is no need to be rude, so please, if you want to tell me that I'm a skank or something, please keep it to yourself, because I don't want to have to give you a violation.

I need it to be fully backless, because I'm going to be getting a full corset piercing up my back.

Yeah, it's disgusting, how could I defile my body like that, blah blah blah.

All links would be greatly appreciated

I don't need a lecture on corset piercings.
I am a piercer.
I am getting corseted as a play-piercing.
I will be piercing the morning of my wedding, and the rings will be removed directly after the reception.

Thank you for your concern though.
Most people tend to be frighteningly uninformed about surface piercings.

How much could I rely on double-sticky fashions tape?
I really want the dress to be strapless too, to show off my chest tattoos.

Oh well...

I have no idea where you would get a strapless and backless gown. Have you by any chance spoken to a dressmaker? I know that sounds expensive, but you would be surprised at how inexpensive they really are, go meet with one and see if maybe they can put your vision into a sketch so you can see it and they can tell you how and if it can be done.

Good luck.

First, I'd like to say you come off as very defensive. If you're comfortable with your oddities, it really shouldn't upset you. You know your piercings are quite out of the norm, which is likely part of the attraction for you, so really you shouldn't be upset when people comment on them. I personally get queasy at the sight of all that, and I would have a difficult time being in attendance at yoru wedding, but since I'm not invited, my opinion on this doesn't matter...

To answer your question, I don't know how you'd be able to get a totally backless & strapless dress--you would only want a piece of material standing up on its own in front? The gown I've chosen is mostly backless, and it may hold some appeal for you, but it isn't strapless, so Im not sure....either way, it might give you some direction. Good luck in finding your dream gown...

Don't know where you can get one but the strapless part might be a little difficult if it is backless as it will most likely fall down. When you find one make sure it has good boning.
I'm just a little worried for you about getting the piercings done on the day. Everytime you go to lean back in your chair its gonna hurt. Because of your reasons for getting it done this proably doesn't worry you, but have some emla creme or something on hand just in case.

I've never seen a dress like that for a wedding as most people tend to want to be a bit more modest on their wedding day. However as yours is for the reason of showing your piercing off for the day then I'd say your best bet is to actually have a dress custom made for you, that way you get exactly what you want and you'll probably pay the same price as an "off the peg dress" anyway. You can then have your dress made to work with your piercings (I know you won't have them til the morning of the wedding but you'll have an idea of where they will be positioned), I'd go that route if I were you. I don't think piercings are disgusting, I used to do piercing myself, it is one of those things that provokes strong reactions like tattoos because people are often scared of what they don't understand.

Hello dear,

While I appreciate what you are looking for, it will not be functional if you go with strapless AND genuinely backless, unless the bodice/top of the dress is stiff and boned. A truly backless gown needs at least spaghetti straps to stay up.

You do not necessarily need to go with sleeves...but straps will keep your gown on! Strapless gowns will be low backed, but not backless...and your piercing style requires fully backless gowns. I'm not sure if this would be low enough for you....

These gowns are classified as "Backless" but you can see the strapless gowns are really just low backed....I think they will be too high for your piercing.

You may want to consider a halter gown. The halter will be high enough above your corset piercing, will allow you to wear a very low backed gown. As you can see from this design, your entire back would be visable:

This gown is low V cut in the front and in the back...Not sure if it would be deep enough in the back for your needs...

Good luck dear!!!

If you cannot notice one that you simply without problems like in bridal magazines or the malls, you would need to pass to a custom-made style fashion designer. They're not always overpriced, commonly at the same time you do not forget what you potentially shopping a salon dress and then, more often than not, shopping the alterations. If you determine your local Yellow Pages, you are going to need to notice them listed underneath Designers, Dressmakers and probably, Tailors. Good well fortune finding your dream dress

Try ebay they have unusual wedding dresses, I found exactly what I was looking for on there after I had searched bridal shops for months. Corset piercings get infected really easy. Make sur eyou take care of it until your wedding, it would suck to have it infected as you stand at the alter. They look cool, but all that trouble for a week or so?? Not for me.

I think this is as close as you are going to find. Unfortunately it doesn't have a picture of the front of the dress but from what you can tell from the side it looks as close to strapless as you can get:

I'm not sure you could find one that is strapless AND backless...how would it stay up? Myabe try a halter style dress that is backless so you can showcase the corset...
