He says that the only thing he lies about is smoking because he promised me that he would stop smoking, but he lies about other things too. I feel so betrayed. WHY DOES HE LIE TO ME????

I got married about 7 months ago and my husband and I have been dating for about 7 years. We do very well, I think we have a good marriage. We both want children but when is about the only argument we have, I would like to have children now, I have been a nanny for 5 years and I am ready to take care of my own children and family. He wants to wait a few years, his excuse is he is too busy with school 1ST year MBA 1 ½ to go. My opinion is when he is done he is going to be busy with his new job, he also thinks we need to be finically stable, not possible. I think there is no perfect time and I am ready. I do not want to push him but I think really he is just scared.

My husband and I married in Pennsylvania 3 years ago. We moved to Utah where I still live, he moved back to Pennsylvania 2 weeks ago. We were planning on getting back together, but he has another girlfriend already and I am planning on getting a divorce. I am young, 24, and have been a student for the past 3 years and don't have a lot of money. What are the first steps when getting a divorce, and how do you research good lawyers.

I am not looking to be malicious and have a long drawn out battle, we don't have children and we never bought a home together so there is not much to fight over. But I also want to protect myself and the small inheritance I received from my grandma. Anyone have any good advice on what to do next???

Link explains situation. After all that and really trying to just be over it i cant seem to stop thinking about it. Is it normal to still want to run back and be with her even after what she did. I know i should just be over it because its completly wrong what she did to me and i understand that, it really hurt.. its just i still dont understand why she would do that to me and i feel maybe, just maybe she will change and not hurt me again. despite that at the same time i feel if she really loved me she wouldnt have done that to me.. especially after the past few years we have been together we havnt had many problems. I miss her but think maybe its just going to take time and i will realize eventually that it is not in my best interest to be with her..I guess my question is, is it normal to want to run back and try again?

1. Past addiction to Cocaine (23 years ago) but still has an addictive personality.
2. Recently (within the past 9 mo) addicted to frequenting Karaoke Bars. He loves to sing & drink.
3.He is still communicating with a woman he did booty calls with even when I asked him to stop. She lives hundreds of miles away right now.
4. Previously addicted to pornography(within the last year)
5. I found an email where he had been pimping himself on Craig's List to have sex with stange women before we met (a married one) & he did not tell me about it once we started our relationship.
6. Does NOT want to attend church AT ALL. I am thinking when I have a child I would like to attend church for the child.
7. He can't have sex with me & get satisfied unless he has constant serious sexual visual stimulation (i.e all the lights on & mirrors). I am sure this has to do with his past porn addiction. He can't just feel it. He has to see EVERYTHING. Sometimes I feel like he wants the porn shot & not me.

In Wisconsin you have to wait six months to get a marriage lisence from the date that the divorce is final. Now lets say I get divorced and that weekend I go to Nevada to get married and obtain a marriage license from Nevada and get married in Nevada then come home to Wi is the marriage still legal. In Nevada the divorce has to be completely final to obtain a marriage license.

My mother remarried a man who at the time of their courtship, was working full time & contributing 50/50 to the bills.

She worked as well full time.

They have no kids & no mutual financial accounts/purchases.

I think it's fraud because he finished his degree 2 months after they married, and has NEVER looked for a job to use it for OVER A YEAR.
He's not even a good stay at home house husband!
MOM has to do ALL the cleaning & cooking, etc...Totally NOT FAIR!

She's building resentment day by day, and I keep warning him to shape up, but apparently it's not changing his freeloading ways.

Stepdad just moans about how "There are no jobs, I can't use my degree, All I do is get picked on, etc" Bla Bla Bla!

BTW this is in FL.... What should she do?
PS- He would never consider marriage therapy.

My wife told me she would "make herself available to me" everyday single day if I stopped smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol. She said the deal is off the second I smoke or take a drink, do you think this is fair? What do you think of this? Would you do it? Could you do it?

FYI: part of new years resolution is to get healthier and she knows this will highly motivate me!

Every so often I ask my boyfriend if we can just stay home that night and he always promises me we can. Then he decides he had a bad day and wants go out for a drink. Or he worked at least 2 hours of over time that day so he announces we're going out to dinner. Because of his work schedule he's usually home by 2 or 3 in the afternoon so every time I mention I'm going to do laundry he says not to bother, promises to do it when he gets home the next day, and then ends up either taking a nap or messing around on the computer and loosing track of time. There's other house stuff he always promises he's wants to get done and I always end up doing it myself. Which is if, I just wish he'd stop promising things he has no intention of making an effort to follow through on.

It would be one thing if this stuff only happened every so often, but it's constant. It isn't even a more often than not thing. It's always. As in every time. It's aggravating. Am I over reacting to this?

I recently bought a house. My boyfriend is Married. He's been separated for 25 year though. The house is totally in my name. He has no credit. but he did give some money as a "down payment" and has done some work fixing up the place. He has told his family that he just bought a house. my question is do u think his family has any recourse if my boyfriend were to pass away or anything? Maybe this is a dumb question, but it is a concern of mine! My boyfriend has already sucked the life out of me and I want out of the relationship now. I wonder what recourses he himself has if his name isn't on the house?

Ok so my husband has problems with his temper and I don't know what to do. I got in a car accident about 6 months ago and haven't been able to work since then. He has a good job but we have more bills then we can pay. He has told me that I don't have to get a job yet and I even tried to a few times and he told me NO! I was not to get a job yet and to wait until after Christmas. His temper gets the best of him most of the time. I don't do anything wrong I clean the house and cook for him everyday. I'm trying to get a job now. I went a few days ago and filled out 3 job applications and I have a appointment with a lady to help me get a job tomorrow but for the past few days he's been really angry with me. He wakes up and starts yelling. He calls me names and makes me feel like I'm worthless. I cant take it anymore I cant stand crying all the time. Getting mad fun of ridculed and called worthless, pathetic, whore, *****, lazy, fat, slobb. I'm so confused.

My x girlfriend and I have a 8 month old son and another on the way. She recently filed for full custody even though she has him all the time. I asked her why she would do that even though she has him all the time and she said its for security. She never wants me to see him. I really believe she has some kind of motivation for doing this. Whats the reason a woman would want to do this even though she has him all the time anyway?Whats the benifits for her? She said she wasnt gonna go for child support at the time but things are changing about that right now. I think shes really trying to screw me. Any advice?

It seems to me that the spouse that is with-holding sex is creating the potential for their spouse to look else where.
It seems only logical that eventually the neglected spouse would look else where.
So by causing the problem does the same spouse deserve the outcome?

My other half is the lovliest person I know. We have been together just over a year and are very much in love. He says things that he wouldn't say unless he was serious about me and has told me he has met the right person. We are very well suited, have never had a falling out (we disagree like everyone but have never had a blow out argument). We are both grown adults.
Yet when I mention anything to do with marriage or living together (and I don't expect it now, I mean in future) he makes it obvious that we will never do either, because we're happy as we are. Hmmm. He may be, I'm not and I've said as much. I don't want to rush into it, but I do want to commit someday, whether it be marraige or just living together. I am grateful he is being honest about it, but I want more out of a lasting relationship than just seeing each other. I love him dearly and we both say this is the sort of love that only comes along once, and we never want to part. But don't want to be spinster. What do I do?

Me & my husband have been married for almost 12 years now. My so called best friend flirts with him right in front of me. She is a very attractive person who always have guys flocking to her. I always seem to brush it off when I notice the flirting. For the past 2 years or less he has run to her at her house everytime we've had a major fight to confide in her. Each time she would call me up afterwards & take his side. Recently, me & my husband have been fighting about why he runs to her. On top of all that he ran to her yet again but he says to tell her to back away from me & my husband. Should I be worried? In one of our fights recently, he did admit flirting with her. I'm just worried that it went beyond just the flirting. He said in one of our arguments that he ran to her cuz she is like a best friend...Tell me, can a husband have a best friend who is another woman? Or am I just being the stupid wife?
