Marriage & Divorce - 21 December 2007

I am 29 years old and temporarily living in Louisiana. I plan on moving to Houston to be closer to my kids after i graduate college in about a year. I do go out but do you think i should avoid any 'serious' relationships?

Hi,
I am an Indian married for 6 years and I have a 1 year old daughter. I am looking for a divorce from my wife due to her parents utmost interference in our lives and my wife does not mind it, infact she supports it. I am not able to lead a normal life because of all this. I am currently in Australia and need a divorce as soon as possible. Could anyone suggest me how to go for it?

when a woman has a good man and children what maks them cheat knowing there children look down on her. for betraying there vows in a marrage and them as well where she.s to set a role model for her children .and knowing most end up in a divorce over her lust is that worth it.

i was with this man a yr and half so i trusted him and got a loan out for him(which he is paying and he couldnt get one) he has now left me and is now back with his wife!(they was separated when we got together) anyway now his wife is saying he is not aloud to have contact with me, which i cant blame her but i have a 7 year loan with this man and i think i have already been used and i would like contact so he doesnt forget what i done for him and his wife cause they would have nothing if wasnt for me cause he would have lost everything what should i do???

My ex and I divorced because she cheated on me 2x. We had 2 kids in which she gave them to me so she can go out and play. After 3 years of not being a mom to my children, she is now living with bf that has money and a house. Now she is coaxing my kids to move in with her. She got my daughter to move in with her and is now working on my son. My ex and I argued because my kids went with me to go visit my mom and I wanted them to stay the night with me. She said no and sent her bf to the front door to get the kids. He then proceeded to argue with me. Then threatened me and called me a f***in sissy in front of my son. I am furious right now because I feel like my ex is getting away with it. Is it fair that she screwed up our marriage and abandoned my kids and now they are siding with her? And now trying to get them back? What can I do to get them off my case and send them a message not to mess with me? (Legally of course) Only serious answers please thanks. In L.A. Ca.

beautiful baby together. We were so in love or so i thought. We'd been together 7 years so it's not like we rushed anything. I had been receiving letters and cards in the post which indicated that he was having an affair but he denied it and i believed him altho it really knocked my confidence. there was also a girl he works with that was mentioned in these letters. After being broke up 9 months he revealed that he thought he was gay and that;s why he had to leave and therefore couldn't come back to me. It's now been 2 years and i've finally met someone wonderful who i wanna spend the rest of my life with but have just found out that my ex has become very close friends with this girl from the letters. I've been so good to him over the 2 years and very understanding and heartbroken at the same time. I feel like he's lied to me about being gay but he swears blind he's told me the truth. I can't accept it if he gets with this girl, what's wrong with me, i know i'm not in love with him?

Here is my situation. There's a an apparent old friend of my husband's e-mailing my husband every 3 days or so. He says they are only friends and have not talked in 10 years until now. I have never heard a mention of her in the 6 years we have been together. He has visited her recently and will not show me anything they e-mail eachother in an apparent attempt to protect me from taking things the wrong way. She's apparently a very "friendly" person he states. He is hell bent on keeping her as his friend. He has told her I feel threatened by her, which I do. I have voiced how I feel to this woman about the situation and how it makes me feel uncomfortable. Her answer to me is too bad I'm gonna continue being friends with him. How should I react to this situation? What should I do. It creates many arguements between my husband and I. I should add that they dated for a short period of time, and broke up due to her cheating on him and getting pregnant. I feel like I'm losing my marriage. :(

My husband and I were having trouble in our marriage over the summer. He was very jealous that my daughter's father had come around and that we would hang out with our child. My husband got in touch with an old friend/ex on facebook and began to flirt and even tell her he would like to take her out on a date. When my husband and I reconciled he stopped talking to her. The minute we began arguing again she started to e-mail him. He said he would go visit her. Now keep in mind in the 6 years we have been together, there was no mention of this woman ever until now. Apparently they were friends before and stopped talking for 10 years. This end of frienship happened shortly after she slept with someone else when they were dating and she got pregnant. Now the hubby did go see her for 3 hours, half of that time spent in her apartment and the rest in a restaurant. this is putting a strain on our marriage and I really feel threatned by her. He hides all emails from her to apparently protect me

Ok heres the thing, I just turned 21 about 2 months ago (which tells you I'm a young guy), only have had a years worth of college done (no degree yet..), and living @ home w/ parents. (sounds loserish), my girlfriend is also young (19), and we dont have bad credit but we have NO CREDIT, both live at home, and she cant work, baby due in about 6 months, I found a job (only making 35,000peryear), and I'm trying to find out what are some of the things that i should do other than just save my money...we want to try to move out in the next 5 months.....other than penny pinching, what should i do (it is my responsibility to make sure i take care of her and the baby..not anyone else)...what programs...be it government..or even types of bank accounts i should set up for future things....MATTER FACT ANY TIPS/ADVICE/INFO WOULD BE WONDERFUL........im clueless!! HELP!!!!!!!

my off and on ex of 5 years randomly tells me he's engaged to a non-american citizen that he's known for 8 months. it caught me off garud but i was happy for him. i encourged him to find the "right" girl. she apparently lives in a different state and they see eachother 3 times a week. later he told me they already had a secret wedding for citizen ship. i though we could stay friends...but he caught me off gaurd and came onto me and i couldn't fight him. i still love him. it happened twice and now i've cut off all contact. i need help understanding why. it seems like the truth is he's a creep, but i'm having trouble believing that. i've known and respected him so long i'm hoping there is a better explination. i feel like there must be some emotional void on his end and he's running to me for help. maybe he wasn't ready for all that commitment. i DO not wish to win him back. i'm NOT feeling used or hurt, i can handle myself, but i need help understanding him. does he REALLY love her?

I am 35. She is 36. I have never been married, but I am falling in love with this woman. She was married for 3 years and divorced for the past 6 years. She had her child at 28. Frankly, I have never thought that I would even consider marrying someone who was previously married, let alone had a child. All that having been said, I am truly beginning to feel that this is the person for me. She is beautiful inside and out. More than anything else, I feel that the two of us are compatible. Question is: Are our lives compatible? At this point, there are a few major questions I need help with 1) How do I explain this to my family/parents without the drama that will inevitably bring on? I am Asian and in my culture marriage is about blending families. I am very successful and always have been since youth. My parents will likely see this as a very bad decision 2) What do I need to consider that I have not yet thought of or don't have the ability to think of? Thank you

My ex girlfriend and i have spoken to day and after 5 weeks apart we are talking about getting back together maybe, In the 5 weeks she has made some new friends but they are all guys and i feel that one of them fancies her! She told me she doesn't know how any of them feel about her and that she doesn't like any of them anymore than as a friend. If we end up back together i know she is gana want to go out drinking and spending time at their flat with them, but i feel she doesn't want to include me in this. How should i deal with this sort of situation? i trust her but i don't know if i trus the guys as i don't know them!
Telling her she can't see them is not an option as she also works with them.
