Most men are always in the mood, but if you are wanting to make it nice for the man when he comes home from work you take off his shoes for him- put on his slippers, let him have some time alone and not talk to him about anything stressful, keep the kids quiet, let him eat in peace and watch his favorite television show. While he is eating his dinner go in and get all pretty upped and after he has eaten then come on in and seduce him.
Men are happy if you feed them a good meal and not nag them or bother them with petty things that have happened during the day. Save all of that until you have had sex.

My husband is rarely in the mood! Usually it is a marathon effort to get him in the mood. It needs to have been at least 4 or 5 days since the last time we were intimate and I gotta work really hard dropping hints and not coming on too strong or he just shoots me down. I wish I knew what made him tick!

No really. We've been together so long that we just read each others signals. If he really seems distracted with something else I'll bend over in front of him (accidentally on purpose) and that usually does it. I try not to do this during football games.....

try to eat early and get him to bed early. you can ask him if he is going to shave. be sweet and playful.
as suggested a back rub can be a quick and direct route to action.
