I feel like im wrecking my life a bit. For a long time two things have affected my life... first of all looked really young and never felt like i fit in with people my age so i never formed any friendships or talked to people growing up... I also lived in a environment when i was growing up where my parents yelled and fought on a daily basis. The combination of these has caused me to be a non social type person that continuous to stick to my self instead of be involved in anything. I tend to be very self concious an depressed alot from not allowing my self to have fun. I would like to be different but I tend to never create the change that i want. I want to be more friendly and outgoing but i guess my social skills are not very good and it feels so hard to change my behaviors. any advice that could help me ? Thanks !

Recently i have met this lady for almost 6 month and we have been seeing each other several time. Actually i have a crush on her but i did not show it and until now i am not sure if she really like me. Last 2 weeks, i received a sms at 11.30 pm and she sms me- hey, just thinking of you :) . I started wearing concave lens in 2001 cause I am short sighted(myopia). People claim eye socket does not change but mine has. I was cute before but now without my spectacles I am too ugly. My eyes are inward. Will I ever go to my normal looks if I stop wearing them after I do like laser?I am 20 male.

when i say look like a geek i mean sterotypical look ie; skinny, with glasses, computer genius, socially awkward people.

im just curious because
i watched dance auditions from hell where they showed majority geeks dancing very VERY badly..
and when they got rejected they genuinely couldnt work out why

but dont these guys know how geeky they look??

Everytime i take a photo, for example, at a speed of 1/1000, the images become really dark, even in light areas. Is this normal? and can it be fixed? I tried increasing the ISO speeds, increasing the apeture thing.. and yeah.. it wont be fixed.

I want so badly to just break down and cry, and let all this crap go. I've been sad for so long, but I've always kept it to myself because I didn't want my family to worry about me.

I also didn't want to cry because if I did, then it was like admitting that what happened was real. I don't want to go into detail, but someone I trusted very much tried to take my life, and I didn't want to believe she would do that to me. I just wanted to understand 'why' after everything was over, but I can't.

Now, I just feel like crying. I so just wish I had some way to let this out... I don't understand why I can't - it's been 3 years, I should have cried a long time ago.

Please, please help me. This is the second time I've asked on here, and I've read site after site about crying. I just want to cry in the normal something-awful-happened way. I don't want to fake it, I don't want to stop myself, I just want to let all these feelings go and be done with them, and her, so that I can feel good again.

I have made this hat: http://www.diynetwork.com/diy/na_knitting/article/0,2025,DIY_14141_4860628,00.html

and the bottom edges curl upwards because I'm making it in stockinette. The earflaps curl a little also. Even after I've added the crochet to the edge. I'd make something with a little texture to it, but my kids are really begging for that flat stockinette look.

Is there a way to do this where it won't curl?

Has anyone suffered from an ulcerated stomach due to Simvastatin. My husband was rushed into hospital three days ago vomiting large amounts of blood.

He has been in intensive care and has had his bowel with 11 lesions and vein tied to stop bleeding.

The Doctor said he thinks the Simvastatin he has been taking has bought this on.

We have bought 6 items, nothing too expensive but, because the account is in my name everything arrives addressed to me! My Partner gives me the money to pay for his purchases but because every parcel is plain wrapped and ALL addressed to me, we haven't got a clue what is in each one.
We have not opened any parcels yet so that we can wrap them up for each other because, we don't know what's in them!
We have decided to wrap them all, put them under the tree and hope for the best on Christmas Day.
If I get a set of spanners and he gets a Rampant Rabbit! So Beit!
