I have a few red candles, a red throw and a red lantern hanging in th corner. It still looks incomplete. What else could I add? Links would be really helpful. Thanks!

I am planning on putting in new flooring on the main floor. I was thinking of wood and then saw bamboo. I know bamboo is better for the environment. I have pets and need durable hopefully if possible scratch free. I would love input from people with experience with both or either.

I am looking for individual flannel fitting sheet for full size bed. All I can find in the stores are complete sets. Does anyone know of a store that sells individual sheets? They are almost impossible to find anymore.

I just recieved my Chris Bosh Fathead I ordered a few days ago. I am in the middle of painting my room....On the instruction manual it says, wait 30 days after painting before applying to wall. Do I really have to wait this long to put it on!!??

I have a cherry wood bed and furniture in my bedroom, and im lookn for a nice bedset to go with my bed its a queen size bed. Im only 18 so i want something not overdramatic yet elegant and just something that fits a 18 yr old girl. I wanted something more bright and not soo dramtatic looking. i want to do something fun ....im 18 yrs old ...some of my friends have suggested that i just get a pair of roller blades and roller blade around the room ...some have suggested playing squash ....(not sure how thats possible without breaking a window ) ....anyone got any ideas?

i have many coffee cans under the sink and before i throw them out,i would like to see if there is some sort of use with them.hobby wise,not for storing things,painting them or putting stickers on them.my grandma already knitted around one and we use it for the spatulas,ladles etc,.im talking like something fun.and i dont want to go to ant arts&craft sights i just want to know if anyone here has any ideas.thanks.

He does a fantastic job on everyone else's projects, but not our own.

His problem is that he wants the house to have the nicest and we cannot afford it, so he starts a project here and then loses interest. Ironically, he does wonderful work when he's motivated with money. I've lived with several projects unfinished for almost 15 years now and really really want to get the house finished.

Ladies, how do you get your husbands to finish the projects?

(By the way, bribing with sex or meals doesn't work - I've tried this, and he doesn't trust me with a hammer either).

I'm 11 years old about to be 12 and i really want to decorate my room but it has to be cheep. I am using Taubmans Duraclean in cream and am finding that I need to use an undercoat and 2-3 coats of paint to cover a very light blue/grey wall. The paint goes on fine and gives coverage then seems to lose its volume upon drying, exposing the previous colour. I have never had this kind of poor coverage before...is it me or the paint.

hi. i have delt with this for awhile and now i just can't take it. my living room is badly designed. and my parents had just rearranged everything and now it looks worse than it is.

i have tried time and time again to tell them my 2 cents but of course they dont listen.

How much per sq foot should ceramic tile installation cost? I would like to get my kitchen and connected bathroom (260 sqft) done. I plan on spending 2 per sq ft on the actual tile.

great room and the other half is a straight staircase. The walls are currently off white and there is nothing on them. What can I do for that huge plain wall next to the stairs? I have sage green carpet runner on the stairs with wood edges. Help?
