How much per sq foot should ceramic tile installation cost? I would like to get my kitchen and connected bathroom (260 sqft) done. I plan on spending 2 per sq ft on the actual tile.

Contact a ceramic tile installer or go to a showroom which sells ceramic, They will tell you the cost of material and the cost of installation. You can determine if you DIY.

That is realistic if you lay the underlayment and provide all materials (grout, mortar, tile) and don't have any funky patterns or small masaics that take a lot of time to install.
