Hi All!
My husband and I recently bought a home and the bathroom is in need of some work. The tile comes from the shower stall all the way around the entire bathroom, roughly 3 feet feet up from the ground.
We don't want to have to rip out all of the walls and replace them (we'd leave the shower stall tile as-is) , but want to cover up the tile or remove it with a crow bar and put white wood paneling in it's place or over top of the existing tile.
Do you think this will work? I've never used wood paneling before, but am thinking it will be a lot less work to either just cover the existing tile with it, or chip the tile off with a crow bar and cover the once-tiled portion with it. We'd use chair molding to finish the top and bottom of the paneling. Also, we'd most likely need to use chair molding to finish the sides where the wall tile meets the shower stall tile. Do you think covering the existing tile or chipping it off would be easier?
Thanks in advance for your help!
